Lucid’s Q2 2025 deliveries grew, but production exceeded deliveries
Lucid reported 3,863 vehicles produced and 3,309 delivered in the second quarter of 2025. The company said deliveries were 38.2% higher than in Q2 2024. Its July 2 production-and-deliveries announcement also put first-half production at 6,075 and deliveries at 6,418. Lucid’s Q2 production and deliveries release cautioned that production and delivery counts are only one measure of operating performance, not a standalone indicator of quarterly financial results.

These are company-wide figures. Lucid’s Q2 2025 financial release did not give Gravity-only production or delivery totals, so they cannot establish how many Gravity SUVs were built or handed to customers.

What Lucid said about Gravity production in 2025
On August 5, 2025, Lucid reported Q2 revenue of $259.4 million and revised its full-year 2025 production outlook to 18,000–20,000 vehicles, down from its previous guidance of 20,000. The company also described the delivery increase as its sixth consecutive quarter of record deliveries.

Interim CEO Marc Winterhoff said Lucid expected to continue that trend “as we ramp up Lucid Gravity production in the second half of the year.” This was management’s outlook in August 2025. It should not be read as proof that the ramp proceeded as planned, or as a forecast that still applies. Lucid’s Q2 2025 financial-results release contains the results and guidance.
Later updates show a supplier disruption and a production reset
Gravity deliveries were disrupted in Q1 2026
Lucid said a second-row seat supplier quality issue disrupted Gravity deliveries for 29 days during Q1 2026, and that the issue had been addressed by the time of its April 3, 2026 release. The company did not provide a Gravity-specific quarterly production or delivery total in that update. Lucid’s Q1 2026 production-and-deliveries announcement is the company’s account of the disruption.
Company-wide production was intentionally reduced in Q2 2026
In its August 4, 2026 results, Lucid reported 4,774 vehicles produced and 3,953 delivered across the company, along with $405 million in revenue. Lucid said production was intentionally reduced to lower inventory and free up cash. These totals are not Gravity-specific, and the company’s stated rationale means the production-deliveries gap should not be read on its own as evidence of Gravity demand.
The same release cited $1.4 billion in identified cash-flow improvement opportunities for 2026. That figure was an estimate of opportunities, not savings Lucid said it had already achieved. The robotaxi plan is a separate potential source of Gravity demand
Lucid’s August 2025 release announced a partnership under which Uber would deploy at least 20,000 Gravity vehicles equipped with Nuro Driver Level 4 autonomy. That is an announced deployment target, not evidence that 20,000 vehicles have been deployed. In its Q2 2026 release, Lucid described deliveries of Gravity Production-Validation vehicles and testing by Uber and Nuro in the San Francisco Bay Area and Houston. That establishes validation and testing activity, not completion of the announced fleet deployment.
