What is the Lotus Eletre X?
The Eletre X is Lotus’s first plug-in hybrid Hyper-SUV, based on the Eletre family and powered by the company’s X-Hybrid system. Lotus describes the system as combining battery-electric performance with internal-combustion support. The vehicle is called For Me in China and Eletre X in Europe, according to Lotus Cars’ 3 June 2026 European announcement and Lotus Technology Inc.’s 2026 Form 20-F.
The change is significant because Lotus is adding a plug-in hybrid to its lineup rather than relying on a single powertrain approach. CEO Qingfeng Feng said in the company’s June release: “Eletre X is proof of how cutting-edge technology can serve the driver, a value which is at the heart of the Lotus brand.” That is the company’s description of its intent, not an independent assessment of the vehicle.
How much power does the Lotus Eletre X have?
Lotus lists two all-wheel-drive European versions. Its release specifies a 1,974 cc engine, a 70 kWh NMC lithium-ion battery and a 900V high-voltage system.

The H1000’s 700 kW figure and acceleration time are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
What is the electric and total range?
For Europe, Lotus gives preliminary WLTP figures of up to 350 km of electric range and up to 1,200 km of combined range. The same release labels its fuel-consumption figure of under 7.0 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions of under 50 g/km as preliminary. These are Lotus’s announced figures, not final homologated results or independent road-test measurements.

For the China-market For Me, Lotus Technology’s 2026 Form 20-F reports a combined range exceeding 1,400 km under the WLTC test cycle. It also reports combined fuel consumption of 0.07 L/100 km under ideal test conditions. Those China-market figures use a different test cycle and stated conditions, so they should not be treated as directly equivalent to the European preliminary WLTP figures.

These published rates and times do not establish what a driver will achieve at a particular charger: equipment and charging conditions affect real charging performance. Lotus’s cited material does not establish a compatible charger model or connector, so confirm vehicle-market specifications and charger compatibility before choosing equipment.
What did Lotus announce about European price and availability?
In its 3 June 2026 release, Lotus said Eletre X orders had opened in mainland Europe from €96,990 and expected customer deliveries to commence in Q4 2026. The price and timing are statements from that dated announcement; they do not confirm present-day stock, local pricing outside mainland Europe or whether deliveries began in any particular market. Check the relevant Lotus market page or an authorized retailer for current ordering and delivery information.
