For used-car shoppers, the 2019 model’s twin-turbo V6, standard all-wheel drive and seven-passenger cabin are appealing, but its 17-mpg EPA combined estimate and child-oriented third row are important tradeoffs. The original MSRP figures below are historical new-car prices, not today’s used-car values.
Is the Lincoln MKT a good used car?
The MKT may suit a buyer who wants an older luxury vehicle with three rows, substantial power and comfort features, and who is prepared to assess an individual used example carefully. Its appeal is clearest in the 2019 specifications: a 365-hp engine, all-wheel drive and seating for seven. The compromises include fuel economy and a third row that a 2017 Car and Driver review characterized as best left for children, rather than adults. That is the publication’s assessment, not a universal measurement.
Because the MKT is discontinued, condition and service history matter more than its original sticker price. Compare examples by model year, engine and drivetrain, trim and equipment, mileage, maintenance records, accident and title history, physical condition, and local asking price. If cross-shopping other three-row SUVs, also consider third-row adult space, cargo room with all rows in use, operating and repair costs, and the availability of newer safety and infotainment features.
What are the Lincoln MKT specs?
2019 engine, drivetrain and fuel economy
Lincoln’s 2019 specifications list a 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged, 24-valve V6 rated at 365 hp at 5,700 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque at 3,500 rpm. Lincoln says those ratings are achieved using 93-octane fuel. The engine is paired with all-wheel drive and a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle activation; the equipment list also includes adaptive suspension and torque vectoring. Equipment can vary by vehicle and ordering combination, so confirm features on the specific car rather than relying on a model-year description.
Safety equipment
Lincoln’s 2019 materials list AdvanceTrac with roll-stability control, a rear-view camera, rear sensing and three-row side-curtain airbags. Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert is listed with Elite equipment. These are feature descriptions, not an independent crash-test or safety rating. | Model and price source | Original price | What the figure represents |

Used asking prices depend on year, mileage, trim, condition, title history, service records, location and available inventory. Compare similar vehicles in your area; the original MSRP alone cannot establish whether a particular listing is fairly priced. The available figures do not establish a reliable current regional price range.

What should you check before buying one?
- Verify the vehicle and its equipment. Confirm model year, trim, engine and drivetrain from the vehicle’s records, then check the actual cabin and controls for the features advertised.
- Review maintenance and condition. Inspect the vehicle and request service documentation. Check for accident or title history, and arrange an independent inspection if appropriate.
- Check recalls by VIN. Lincoln’s official owner-manual and document library provides 2019 MKT manuals and related documents, but a document library is not a vehicle-specific recall check. Use the VIN to establish whether the particular car has open recalls.
- Compare local listings on like-for-like terms. Account for model year, powertrain, trim, mileage, service history, title status and condition when judging the asking price.
- Assess whether the layout fits your use. If adults will regularly ride in the third row or you need strong fuel economy, evaluate those priorities in person rather than assuming the MKT’s seven-passenger configuration settles the question.
What was the last year Lincoln made the MKT?
The researched model-year span is 2010–2019, with 2019 listed as the latest model year on Cars.com’s MKT page. Lincoln’s current model page states, “The Lincoln MKT is no longer available.” See Lincoln’s current MKT page and Cars.com’s MKT model research.
Where can you see Lincoln MKT photos and find owner documents?
Cars.com’s MKT research page includes a 2019 gallery with 30 photos, useful for visual reference. The page’s gallery does not itself grant permission to republish those images. Lincoln’s official library is the place to look for 2019 MKT owner manuals, specifications, warranty information, quick reference material and tire warranty documents. For replacement floor mats, verify model-year and trim fitment before buying; Lincoln’s 2019 materials list carpeted mats for the first and second rows, but that does not establish fitment for every year or a particular replacement listing.
