Lexus’s August 2025 announcement lists the 2026 NX 350h at $45,570 for FWD standard and $47,120 for AWD standard, including delivery, processing, and handling. Toyota lists a $32,850 starting MSRP for the 2025 RAV4 Hybrid LE.

For a current Lexus quote, check the exact grade and drivetrain rather than combining numbers from different page contexts. Lexus’s 2026 NX specifications page displays prices and mpg values that do not match every figure in the newsroom announcement.
What do you get for the Lexus premium?
More published power, but no direct acceleration comparison
The NX 350h’s published system output is 21 hp higher than the RAV4 Hybrid’s (240 versus 219). Lexus also lists 0–60 mph estimates of 8.2 seconds for the 2026 NX 350h FWD and 7.2 seconds for AWD. Toyota’s cited RAV4 Hybrid page does not provide a comparable acceleration figure, so those Lexus times cannot establish which vehicle is quicker in a like-for-like test.

The NX 350h’s appeal also rests on its Lexus identity and the equipment available across its grades. The available manufacturer figures establish different brands and trim ladders; they do not objectively measure cabin quality, ride comfort, or whether the Lexus feels worth more to a particular driver. Decide which comfort and technology features matter to you, then compare the specific grades that include them.

The published estimates are broadly competitive, but the comparison depends on grade and drivetrain. Lexus reports 40 mpg combined for the 2026 NX 350h FWD and 39 mpg combined for AWD. Toyota lists up to 41 city/38 highway mpg for most 2025 RAV4 Hybrid grades, and up to 39 EPA-estimated combined mpg; the RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition is listed at 38 city/35 highway mpg.

Those figures are manufacturer estimates, not a promise of an individual owner’s results. Compare the exact grades and drivetrains you would buy. The RAV4’s cited listing has standard electronic on-demand AWD, while the NX 350h is offered in both FWD and AWD.

How to decide if the upgrade is worth it
- Match model years and grades. The figures above compare a 2026 Lexus with a 2025 Toyota. For a purchase decision, get specifications and pricing for the same model year where possible, and select grades with comparable equipment. Toyota’s 2026 RAV4 mechanical and performance page notes that specifications apply to mainland U.S. vehicles and may change, but the cited accessible page does not provide the needed hybrid-grade details for a full matched comparison.
