LARTE Design has presented a BMW XM in Lunar Lilac, its cool lavender metallic with a blue undertone, paired with a 17-component dry-carbon exterior program. The tuner says the treatment fits the XM, XM Label and XM 50e while leaving the M Hybrid powertrain stock. The exact pictured car’s build or delivery status has not been independently confirmed.
What makes LARTE’s XM purple
LARTE calls the bespoke finish Lunar Lilac. The company says it developed the paint and dry-carbon pieces together, matching the color against cured carbon samples panel by panel. The finish covers the painted body from hood to diffuser; LARTE describes matching forged 23-inch wheels as a separate option, not part of the standard exterior program. What the exterior program includes
LARTE describes its package as 17 components made from 100% dry carbon with a Class-A surface finish. Its listed parts include:
- A vented hood with integrated rainwater drainage.
- A two-piece front splitter and grille surround.
- Side moldings, sill covers and wheel-arch extensions.
- A rear diffuser with hexagonal carbon exhaust tips and additional brake lights.
- Lower and upper rear spoiler elements.
LARTE says the parts attach at factory points without cutting or drilling, and remain compatible with parking sensors and driver-assistance systems. Which BMW XM models does LARTE list?
LARTE names the BMW XM (G09), XM Label and XM 50e as compatible with the program, and says the M Hybrid powertrain remains stock. LARTE has presented and described the Lunar Lilac configuration, but Carscoops’ report says it remains unclear whether the exact XM shown in the images was actively being built.
