A 27-year-old woman died after a head-on crash on Mirrabooka Avenue in Landsdale on 8 January 2016, PerthNow reported. Two children who were passengers in her Hyundai Excel and the driver of the other vehicle were reported stable at the time.
What happened in the Landsdale crash?
PerthNow reported that at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 8 January 2016, a white Hyundai Excel was travelling north on Mirrabooka Avenue near Southmead Drive when it collided head-on with a white Nissan Pulsar travelling in the opposite direction. The report attributed that account to police.
The report did not explain how or why the vehicles collided, so it does not establish a cause or assign fault.
Who was injured?
- The 27-year-old woman driving the Hyundai was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and died.
- Two children travelling as passengers in the Hyundai were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital and reported in stable condition at the time.
- The 35-year-old Nissan driver was taken to Royal Perth Hospital and also reported in stable condition at the time.
Those hospital and condition details describe the situation reported in January 2016; they are not current medical updates. PerthNow said a police spokeswoman could not confirm whether the deceased woman was the children’s mother.

PerthNow reported that Major Crash officers were investigating and seeking witnesses at the time. The report included a historical Crime Stoppers appeal, but no later investigation finding or court outcome is established here.
