The 240-hp figure attached to the Lancia Ypsilon HF was an early preview number, not the final road-car specification. Lancia’s May 2024 preview described an electric hot hatch with 240 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of 5.8 seconds; by October 2024, the company had announced 280 hp for the road car. Its June 2025 release detailed that production specification, including a claimed 370 km WLTP range.
How much power does the Lancia Ypsilon HF have?
Lancia’s June 2025 production specification lists the electric Ypsilon HF at 280 CV (207 kW) and 345 Nm. That is the later road-car figure; the 240-hp headline came from the company’s May 2024 preview. Lancia also revised the stated 0–100 km/h time from 5.8 seconds in the preview to 5.6 seconds in its production specification. These are manufacturer figures, not independent test results. Lancia’s June 2025 announcement gives a top speed of 180 km/h.
What are the electric HF’s range and charging claims?
Lancia quotes a 370 km WLTP range with standard tires for the 280-CV Ypsilon HF. The company specifies a 54-kWh, 400-V lithium-ion battery and says rapid charging can add up to 100 km in 10 minutes. These are Lancia’s stated figures; the cited release does not provide independent real-world range or charging-test results. Lancia’s June 2025 release
What makes the road-going Ypsilon HF different?
Lancia describes the HF as a performance-focused version of the electric Ypsilon, with suspension lowered by 20 mm, a track widened by 30 mm, 18-inch alloy wheels, a Torsen differential and Alcon brakes. The company’s June 2025 announcement identifies these as part of the road car’s specification; it does not establish independent handling or braking results.

What does Lancia mean by going back to its rally roots?
The HF badge has a history that predates this electric hatch. Lancia says the “Lancia Hi-Fi” club was founded by owners in 1960 and that HF Squadra Corse followed in 1963. In its May 2024 announcement, the company also said Lancia had won 15 World Rally Championships; that is a company-published figure dated to that release, rather than an independently verified current statistic. What is known about price and availability?
Lancia’s June 2025 Balocco announcement listed the road Ypsilon HF from €42,100 in its Spanish-market material. This is a dated, market-specific manufacturer price, not a present-day quote or a global price. The reviewed Lancia releases do not establish current availability or pricing in other countries, so buyers should confirm local-market details with a Lancia retailer.
