The Lamborghini Lanzador is an electric 2+2 Gran Turismo concept unveiled in August 2023—not a confirmed production car available to buy. What is the Lamborghini Lanzador?
Lamborghini presented the Lanzador at Monterey Car Week in August 2023 as a “Gran Turismo 2+2” and introduced the “Ultra GT” label for the proposed format. The concept previews a future fourth model, pairing grand-touring packaging with the performance-oriented character Lamborghini says it intends to deliver. Stephan Winkelmann, Lamborghini chairman and CEO, described the idea at launch: “With this concept, we are ushering in a new car segment, the Ultra GT, which is poised to offer customers a new and unparalleled driving experience, one that’s quintessentially Lamborghini, thanks to groundbreaking technologies.” This is the company’s positioning, not an independent assessment of how the car drives.

Is the Lamborghini Lanzador on sale, and when could it arrive?
The sources reviewed do not establish that a production Lanzador is on sale or that Lamborghini has opened orders. In its 18 August 2023 announcement, the company said the future fourth model was planned for 2028. That was the plan stated at the concept’s unveiling, not confirmation of a launch date. Lamborghini’s 2025 Environmental Statement continues to refer to a future fully electric GT 2+2 previewed by the Lanzador concept, but does not confirm a production schedule.
