According to Koenigsegg, the Jesko and Lundh had not previously visited the circuit. The company’s 2024 annual report adds that Lundh had driven the track in a simulator, but not in person before the run. What was the record, and is it still current?
Koenigsegg identified the 1:24.86 as a record for homologated production cars. That category qualification matters: the result was not presented as Laguna Seca’s fastest lap by any vehicle. Nor is the Jesko the current holder of the production-car mark. Koenigsegg’s history page reports that its Sadair’s Spear set a 1:24.16 lap at Laguna Seca on November 4, 2025. What is known about the Jesko’s setup?
Koenigsegg’s annual report says the team changed to new Michelin tires after promising times during a customer event at Monterey Car Week. It also specifies that the car ran on E85 fuel. The published material does not provide a complete setup sheet, so details such as tire pressures, weather conditions, or a full aerodynamic configuration cannot be established from these sources.
