STO stands for Super Trofeo Omologata. Lamborghini describes the car as the road-going expression of its track-focused Huracán, with technology and design influenced by its Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO race cars. The manufacturer introduced it as a road-legal model built with racetrack use in mind. Lamborghini’s launch announcement and its official Huracán STO page outline that positioning.
It is rear-wheel drive, rather than an all-wheel-drive Huracán variant. Lamborghini highlights extensive carbon-fiber construction and a single Cofango assembly that combines the front hood and fenders. That approach is part of the STO’s race-derived identity, not merely a visual styling cue.
How much does a Lamborghini Huracán STO cost?

For context, CV is metric horsepower; Lamborghini also gives the power figure in kilowatts. The acceleration and top-speed figures are the manufacturer’s stated claims and should not be read as independently verified road-test results.
Driving modes and connected features
The STO has three driving modes: STO for road driving, Trofeo for dry-track use and Pioggia for slippery conditions. Lamborghini also describes connected telemetry that records track sessions and supports their analysis. The mode names indicate intended settings; they do not make a wet or dry track safe regardless of conditions, tires or driver skill.

Exterior design
The prominent Cofango brings the front hood and fenders together as one assembly. Lamborghini says more than 75% of the body panels use carbon fiber. The rear wing is manually adjustable in three positions, according to the manufacturer’s 2024 retrospective on the STO. Lamborghini’s retrospective also revisits the car’s track-derived design.
