The Lamborghini Temerario is listed at a $290,000 starting MSRP in two U.S. specification listings—one for the 2025 model year and one for 2026. But whether that makes a V12 Ferrari “blush” is not established by a like-for-like price comparison: the available Ferrari sources do not give a comparable U.S. 12Cilindri starting price. What is clear is the contrast between Lamborghini’s 920-CV hybrid V8 super sports car and Ferrari’s naturally aspirated V12 GT.
What does the Lamborghini Temerario cost?
Car and Driver lists a $290,000 MSRP for the 2025 Temerario, while Cars.com lists a $290,000 starting MSRP for its 2026 model-year entry. These are third-party specification listings, not a price quote from Lamborghini. Car and Driver’s 2025 specifications and Cars.com’s 2026 specifications therefore support $290,000 as a reported starting figure, not a guaranteed price for every car or buyer.
A starting MSRP is not the same as the price of a configured car or a dealer transaction. The sources do not establish equivalent equipment, dealer markups, allocation costs, or the final price of a specific Temerario build. Car and Driver’s broader 2026 model page also displayed $387,649, but that figure is not presented in the available listing context as a clean base-MSRP comparison. It should not be substituted for the specification pages’ reported starting price.
Can the Temerario be compared with the Ferrari 12Cilindri on price?
Not reliably from the available figures. Ferrari’s official technical sheet and its May 3, 2024 launch release establish the 12Cilindri’s specifications and identity, but do not provide a comparable U.S. starting MSRP. Without a market-matched Ferrari base price, there is no defensible dollar gap and no basis for saying the Temerario undercuts the 12Cilindri by a particular amount.

That distinction matters because a U.S. MSRP, a foreign-market price, and a dealer listing are different kinds of evidence. A meaningful comparison would need prices for the same market and a clear basis—such as both cars’ starting MSRPs, or both configured transaction prices. The sources here do not establish that match.

Lamborghini describes the Temerario as its first super sports car with a twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors, delivering 920 CV. Its official page gives a top speed of 343 km/h and a 0–100 km/h time of 2.7 seconds: Lamborghini Temerario.

Ferrari’s figures describe a different approach. The 12Cilindri pairs a 6,496 cm³ naturally aspirated V12 with a maximum engine speed of 9,500 rpm; Ferrari specifies 830 cv at 9,250 rpm. Ferrari introduced it as a two-seat berlinetta powered by a mid-front-mounted naturally aspirated V12 in its May 3, 2024 launch release. The output numbers should not be treated as a complete performance ranking: they come from distinct powertrain architectures, and peak output alone does not settle which car better suits a buyer.
Which car’s character fits the buyer?
The broad distinction is between an electrified super sports car and a V12 Ferrari GT. The Temerario’s stated specification emphasizes a turbocharged V8 working with three electric motors, with Lamborghini publishing headline acceleration and top-speed figures. The 12Cilindri’s defining technical feature is its naturally aspirated V12, with Ferrari’s published engine data highlighting displacement, power rpm, and engine speed. Those differences are more useful for understanding the cars than an unsupported claim that one is simply cheaper or faster.

Neither set of figures establishes how the cars compare in comfort, equipment, availability, dealer pricing, or real-world use. A buyer weighing them should first compare the actual market, model year, build specification, and transaction terms for the cars under consideration.

The Temerario’s reported U.S. starting MSRP is $290,000 in third-party listings for both the 2025 and 2026 model-year entries. The Ferrari 12Cilindri is a V12 alternative with a distinctly different powertrain, but the available official Ferrari sources do not establish its comparable U.S. starting price. The headline’s price contrast is therefore suggestive, not a verified dollar-for-dollar victory.
