To make the front bumper fit, the builder reportedly fabricated steel extensions for the hood hinges and altered the front structure. This is more involved than trimming an edge or enlarging a hole. It means the installer had to create new attachment geometry and modify the surrounding structure so the panel could sit in the intended position.

1. Check the panel gaps from several angles
Inspect the gap to both quarter panels, the deck-lid edge, the lower diffuser and each lamp opening. The left and right sides should be consistent. A single close-up can hide a twisted bumper or a gap that opens toward the wheel arch.
2. Confirm that the panel is supported at its intended points

Visible filler, sanding scratches or an unpainted edge may simply indicate that the project is incomplete. Cracked fiberglass, torn mounting areas, distorted metal or interference with structural components are more serious signs. The available report does not provide those rear-specific observations.

5. Verify road-use requirements
Lamp visibility, reflector placement, plate mounting, exhaust clearance and secure attachment can be subject to local inspection rules. A custom appearance should not be judged solely on whether it resembles a later Lamborghini design.

- Identify the exact car: Record the model year, body style, transmission-related differences if relevant, and whether the car is an early Gallardo or a later LP version.
- Request dimensional evidence: Ask the seller for mounting-point drawings, photographs of an installed kit on the same version and measurements for lamp, wheel-arch and exhaust openings.
- Clarify the material: Determine whether each piece is fiberglass, carbon fiber, a composite or a hybrid. Ask about laminate thickness, reinforcement around fasteners and repair procedures.
- Price the whole job: Add shipping, customs charges, fabrication, trial fitting, surface correction, primer, paint, hardware and reassembly to the panel price.
- Plan for test fitting: Do not paint first. Trial-fit every panel, mark interference, verify symmetry and confirm that lamps, liners and undertrays can be installed.
