The Kia Vision Meta Turismo is a future-mobility sports sedan concept, not a confirmed production car. Kia uses it to explore a more immersive driving experience alongside a passenger cabin designed for comfort, with digital features such as augmented-reality displays and a modular interface presented as concept ideas rather than verified equipment.
What is the Kia Vision Meta Turismo?
Kia presents the Vision Meta Turismo as a study of how driving, digital interaction, passenger comfort and time spent stationary could come together in a vehicle. It appeared among six EV concept cars in Kia’s “Journey of Projection” presentation for Milan Design Week 2026, an exhibition about design, technology, emotion and future mobility. What does the design look like?
Kia describes the exterior as a meeting of fluid surfaces and geometric structures. The car has a low, wide, extreme cab-forward silhouette, with an expansive glass canopy that emphasizes openness. The design is built around contrasts: dynamic performance and lounge-like comfort, sculptural form and geometry, and emotion and technology.

Jochen Paesen, Head of Kia Future Design Group, says the concept brings “dynamic performance and lounge-like comfort, emotion and technology” into a single design. The idea is less about a published set of vehicle specifications than about showing how those opposing qualities might coexist.
How is the cabin divided?
Kia describes two distinct cabin zones: an immersive cockpit for the driver and a passenger area oriented toward rest and relaxation. The passenger seat is said to rotate and reconfigure the space, but this is a feature of Kia’s concept presentation, not a confirmed function on a retail vehicle.
The concept’s experience is framed as continuing when the car is not moving. Kia depicts the cabin becoming a personal game room while stationary, extending its lounge-like purpose beyond the drive.
Which technology features does Kia show?
The concept presentation imagines several ways occupants might interact with the car and its surroundings. Kia has not established their technical implementation, safety certification, compatibility or availability.

Oliver Samson, Head of Kia Design Europe, describes the aim as creating a driving experience “for the gamer generation.” These details explain the concept’s direction; they should not be read as a list of equipment Kia has confirmed for a production model.
