The notice covers certain 2025 Sorento HEVs as part of a broader recall that also includes certain 2024–2025 Sorento vehicles and 2025 HEV/PHEV vehicles. It is production-specific. A Sorento’s model year, fuel system, or trim name alone cannot establish coverage, and a non-hybrid recall result should not be presented as an HEV defect.
Repair and timing
