Kia Sonet Prime sales began in Uzbekistan on 29 September 2026. It joins the existing Kia Sonet, which remains on sale, and brings revised front and rear styling, a more adjustable rear seat and a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine with an IVT and front-wheel drive. Kia Uzbekistan lists the Prestige configuration at 269,900,000 UZS.
What is new in Kia Sonet Prime?
The Prime is an addition to the Uzbekistan-market Sonet range, not a replacement for the existing Sonet. ADM’s launch announcement says both versions will be available at the same time and that both are produced at ADM Jizzakh using CKD technology. ADM also said production of the Prime began on 15 September 2026, during the Uzbekistan–Korea business forum in Seoul.

Revised exterior
ADM describes the front and rear body sections as redesigned. Announced changes include a patterned grille, Star Map LED lighting, Ice Cube fog lamps, vertical rear lamps joined by a full-width LED strip, a new bumper and an integrated spoiler. The Prime is offered in seven body colors, including red- or white-bodied two-tone versions with a contrasting black roof. Kia’s Prestige listing specifies 16-inch alloy wheels and 215/60R16 tires.
More adjustable cabin
ADM lists two 10.25-inch displays: one for the instrument cluster and one for multimedia. The system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with an interface in Uzbek, Russian and English. Other announced equipment includes a seven-speaker Bose audio system with subwoofer, wireless phone charging, USB-C and USB-A ports, climate control, Smart Key access, a powered sunroof and selectable ambient lighting.

ADM also says the Prime has ventilated front seats and a six-way driver’s seat with four-way electric adjustment. The rear seat can move longitudinally and its backrest angle can be adjusted. ADM reports a cushion 21 mm longer and 30 mm more second-row knee room due to a revised front-seat-back shape; these are manufacturer-reported comparisons, not independent measurements.

The Uzbekistan configuration pairs a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine with an IVT and front-wheel drive. Kia identifies the engine as 1,497 cc and lists 144 Nm of torque; ADM and Kia list output at 115 hp. Kia quotes 10.3 seconds for 0–100 km/h.

Kia’s published fuel-consumption figures conflict: its overview shows 5.5 L/100 km combined, while its technical specification page gives 6.4 L/100 km combined. The pages do not clearly explain the test-cycle difference, so neither figure should be treated as definitive without clarification from Kia.
Safety and driver-assistance equipment
ADM lists forward collision avoidance (FCA), lane keeping assist (LKA), lane following assist (LFA) and driver attention warning (DAW). It says FCA can recognize cars, two-wheel vehicles and pedestrians and can apply emergency braking when needed. Other listed equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, electronic stability control, tire-pressure monitoring, hill-start and downhill assist, and four-wheel disc brakes. These are equipment descriptions from ADM, not independently tested safety-performance results.
Kia Sonet Prime price in Uzbekistan
Kia Uzbekistan’s current price page lists one Sonet Prime configuration: Prestige with the 1.5 MPI petrol engine, priced at 269,900,000 UZS. ADM’s 29 September 2026 launch announcement gives the same price and states a warranty of five years or 150,000 km. Price, warranty terms and dealer stock can change; confirm the final purchase terms and availability with Kia Uzbekistan or a local dealer.
