Calling it “China’s answer to the Toyota Land Cruiser” is a useful headline frame—not a proven verdict: the available information does not establish a direct technical comparison or show that the two vehicles are equivalent.
What the JETOUR G700 is
JETOUR describes the G700 as an “All-terrain Premium Hybrid Off-Road SUV.” China-market configuration information identifies it as a plug-in hybrid with a non-unibody structure. Those details are specific to the China-market material and should not be assumed to match every export version.

Where JETOUR says the G700 is going
JETOUR’s G Series timeline records the G700’s global debut in Dubai and a Qatar launch in November 2025, followed by launches in Ecuador in March 2026 and Panama and Mexico in May 2026. It also lists an appearance at the Moab Off-road Rally in the United States in April 2026; an event appearance does not establish a U.S. retail launch.

China-market pricing is not a global price
A JETOUR/ZONGHENG launch announcement dated October 19, 2025, reported China guide prices of RMB 329,900–414,900 and a limited-time starting offer of RMB 304,900. The offer was explicitly time-limited; neither figure should be presented as a current price or as pricing for another country. Does it match the Toyota Land Cruiser?
There is not enough evidence here to say that the G700 beats, replaces or equals a Toyota Land Cruiser. No particular Land Cruiser generation, market or trim has been specified, and the available material does not provide an independent head-to-head test or a verified set of matching Toyota specifications.

- Structure and off-road equipment, including the specific traction and differential systems.
- Powertrain, rated output, acceleration, energy or fuel consumption, and range measured under comparable conditions.
- Ground clearance, approach and departure angles, water-fording guidance and independent trail performance.
- Passenger and cargo space, ride comfort and everyday road behavior.
- Local price, warranty, service coverage, spare-parts access and resale support.
JETOUR’s G Series architecture page describes an integrated ladder frame and three locking differentials, while the China configuration material calls the G700 non-unibody and the global product page refers to a high-strength off-road body structure. These manufacturer descriptions should be checked against the complete specification for the exact market variant before drawing technical comparisons.

Part of a wider Chinese off-road SUV field
The G700 is not the only Chinese vehicle positioned in this space. Fangchengbao’s official history dates its brand and DMO hybrid off-road platform to 2023, with the Bao 5 launched in November 2023 and the Bao 8 in November 2024.
