Yes. Jeep announced on June 18, 2024, that the Wrangler 392 Final Edition would continue into the 2025 model year, reversing its earlier plan to end the V-8 Wrangler after 2024. The announcement described the extension as a response to customer interest and said the 2025 edition would retain much of the 2024 Final Edition’s standard equipment—not every item.
Why Jeep continued the Wrangler 392
In March 2024, Jeep described the 2024 Wrangler 392 Final Edition as a limited-production send-off, with 3,700 units planned globally. On June 18, the company announced that the Final Edition would continue for 2025. The 3,700-unit figure referred to the announced 2024 run; it is not a combined cap for 2024 and 2025. Stellantis’s June 2024 announcement attributed the decision to customer response. That is the company’s explanation, not an independent measurement of demand. The March announcement provides the earlier sunset context.
This was a model-year extension, not an announcement of a new engine or Wrangler generation. Jeep said production was expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025 and orders were expected to open later in 2024. Those were plans stated in June 2024; they do not establish actual production totals, the eventual order-opening date, or current dealer availability.
What engine and performance figures did Jeep publish?
For the 2025 Wrangler 392, Stellantis listed a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 rated at 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The manufacturer also quoted 0–60 mph in 4.5 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 13.0 seconds. These are manufacturer-published figures, not results from independent testing. Jeep’s June 2024 announcement called the model the “quickest and most powerful” Wrangler; that characterization is the company’s.

The June announcement also listed exclusive hood and fender vent decals, black Nappa leather-trimmed seats, and a special shifter medallion and swing-gate plaque. Jeep said the 2025 Final Edition would retain “much of” the 2024 Final Edition’s standard equipment. It specifically reserved the Mopar triple-loop grille guard and Mopar 83-piece toolkit for 2024 Final Edition vehicles, so those should not be assumed to carry over.
