The update also revises steering and suspension tuning across the range. Japanese recommended prices including 10% consumption tax are ¥17,000,000 for the LX600 F SPORT and ¥18,000,000 for the LX700h F SPORT.
What the Japan-market LX F SPORT adds
F SPORT is a new grade in Japan’s revised LX lineup, not a separate powertrain. Both the LX600 F SPORT and LX700h F SPORT are listed with all-wheel drive and a choice of five or seven seats. Lexus pairs distinct styling and cabin equipment with model-specific chassis hardware and calibration.
Chassis hardware and tuning
- Front and rear Performance Dampers, a Torsen limited-slip differential and a rear stabilizer are standard.
- Electric power steering (EPS) and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) receive F SPORT-specific tuning.
- The F SPORT uses 22-inch forged aluminum wheels finished in Super Gloss Black Metallic with 265/50R22 tires.
Lexus says these changes are intended to sharpen response and increase handling stability. The company’s October 1, 2026 Japanese announcement does not provide independent comparison tests or measured gains in cornering, steering response or ride comfort. The listed tire size is a vehicle specification, not confirmation that a particular replacement tire or wheel will fit another LX.
Exterior and interior details
F SPORT exterior trim includes a black-finished mesh spindle grille, mesh details at the sides and rear, dedicated bumper trim and F SPORT badges. Red front brake calipers with a Lexus logo are optional, not standard equipment.

Japan prices, powertrains and seating
Toyota’s recommended Japanese retail prices below include 10% consumption tax. They are Japan-market list prices; the announcement does not establish pricing elsewhere.

Within the listed Japanese grades, F SPORT costs ¥1,400,000 more than the standard LX600 and ¥1,000,000 more than the standard LX700h. The price table also shows an LX600 OVERTRAIL+ at ¥16,000,000, LX700h OVERTRAIL+ at ¥17,000,000, LX600 EXECUTIVE at ¥21,100,000 and LX700h EXECUTIVE at ¥22,100,000. These are recommended prices including Japanese consumption tax.
How the updated LX’s handling changes differ by grade
Lexus says it optimized EPS tuning across all specifications to pursue steering feel that more closely follows the driver’s input. It also says it refined suspension characteristics to improve stability and ride quality while aiming for consistent driving character across powertrains. Those are manufacturer-described aims; the release supplies no independent test results or performance figures.

F SPORT adds its own EPS and AVS tuning, plus the listed dampers, differential and rear stabilizer. The update’s other grade changes serve different purposes and should not be confused with F SPORT equipment:
- OVERTRAIL+: The tire size changes from 265/65R18 to 265/70R18. Lexus says the larger outside diameter accompanies increased ground clearance and improved capability on demanding rough roads; tire construction and tread were also optimized for on-road quietness.
- Standard LX600: A new 20-inch wheel design is added.
- All grades: White Nova Glass Flake becomes available across the range.
Is the LX F SPORT hybrid, and is it sold outside Japan?
There are two Japanese F SPORT powertrain choices: the gasoline LX600 and hybrid LX700h. The October 1, 2026 announcement covers the Japan-market launch and prices. Although Toyota says the LX is enjoyed by customers in more than 50 countries, that figure does not establish that the new F SPORT grades are available in those markets. Availability and specifications outside Japan are not stated in the announcement.
