For context only, a January 2025 IGI Research report cited PKR 10.5 million for the T9 Hunter at that time. This is dated analyst-reported Hunter context, not a current Hunter quote or a like-for-like current comparison with the FRISON. IGI Research’s coverage initiation report should be read with that date and distinction in mind.
How does the Frison 4×2 differ from the T9 Hunter 4×4?
The confirmed distinction in the available manufacturer material is drivetrain: Ghandhara’s 2025 annual-report product listing identifies the Frison as 4×2 and the T9 Hunter as 4×4. That does not establish that the Frison retains every Hunter feature. The sources available do not provide a complete variant-by-variant comparison of engine output, safety equipment, infotainment, cabin trim, driver assistance, warranty or other equipment. JAC’s global announcement about the T9’s Karachi launch reported a five-star result in the 2024 Australian ANCAP test for the global T9 model. That result should not be assumed to apply to every Pakistan-market Frison configuration: confirm the tested vehicle and local specification before using the rating to compare variants.
