What does the Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta cost?
Aprilia Racing’s September 2, 2022 launch announcement offered the RSV4 XTrenta for €50,000 excluding VAT. Its technical data sheet specifies €50,000 excluding VAT, EXW Noale. An Aprilia USA ticket page displays $80,000 and mentions an owner experience, but the page’s date, transaction terms, and relationship to the original offer are not established. Treat the figures as separate source-specific price statements, not as a confirmed currency conversion or proof of the original U.S. list price.
The €80,000 excluding VAT price announced in 2024 applies to the different, later RSV4 X ex3ma—not the XTrenta. Aprilia Racing’s X ex3ma announcement describes that model as a 30-unit edition.
10 reasons the XTrenta can justify a premium
1. It is a numbered, 100-unit edition
Aprilia Racing announced a production run of just 100 numbered motorcycles. That gives the XTrenta a defined scarcity and makes it more exclusive than a regular-series RSV4. Limited production can support desirability, but it does not by itself prove future resale value.

2. It comes from Aprilia Racing’s Factory Works program
The XTrenta was developed by Aprilia Racing’s Noale Racing Department as part of its Factory Works program, based on the 2022 RSV4 Factory. Aprilia presents Factory Works as a route for making racing-derived technology available to high-level production-derived competition and riders seeking track-optimized performance. That provenance helps explain why the bike is a specialist product rather than simply a cosmetic special edition.
3. Its aerodynamics are more than a paint-and-sticker package
Aprilia says carbon fairing components made by PAN Compositi use processes from MotoGP and combine front wings, rear wings, and an underwing mounted on the swingarm. The company claims the configuration increases aerodynamic load by 25% while reducing drag by 4%. Those are manufacturer-stated results; no independent test is established here.

4. Aprilia specifies a 230 hp peak
The launch materials state peak power of 230 hp, achieved with an increased compression ratio and a dedicated titanium-and-carbon SC-Project exhaust system. This is Aprilia’s specification, not an independently measured output figure. For a buyer prioritizing track performance, the claimed peak and dedicated exhaust are part of the technical case for the premium.
5. The equipment is selected for track use
The technical data sheet lists racing electronics, Öhlins suspension, Brembo braking equipment, forged magnesium Marchesini wheels, and a high-permeability filter, alongside other track-specific hardware. These components make the price easier to understand as a package assembled around competition use, rather than as a standard RSV4 with a limited-edition badge.

6. It is delivered on Pirelli Diablo SBK slicks
Aprilia specifies Pirelli Diablo SBK slick tires: 120/70 SC-1 at the front and 200/65 SC-X at the rear. Pirelli discusses the SC-X tire in its article on the RSV4 XTrenta. Slicks are a concrete part of the bike’s race-oriented specification, but the available sources do not establish current retail price, replacement interval, retailer stock, or road suitability.
7. The wheels are lighter, according to Aprilia
Aprilia reports that the forged magnesium wheels reduce wheel weight by around 2 kg compared with the standard wheel set. The figure is the manufacturer’s comparison; it is not an independent measurement reported here. Reduced wheel mass is relevant to a performance-focused build, though the figure alone cannot quantify how the bike will perform for a particular rider.

8. The edition commemorates a specific racing milestone
The XTrenta marks the 30th anniversary of Aprilia’s first world title. Aprilia describes its livery as a contemporary interpretation of the 1992 race livery, giving the limited edition a historical connection beyond its component list.
9. The original offer included a collection experience
In its 2022 announcement, Aprilia said buyers would receive a dedicated motorcycle cover and mat, and could collect the bike at Aprilia Racing and visit the Noale racing department. Those were elements of the original announced offer, not guaranteed inclusions for a current or resale transaction. Aprilia Racing’s launch announcement also said the 100 units would be bookable online beginning September 6, 2022.

10. Its value proposition is specialized, not universal
The XTrenta’s appeal combines rarity, racing provenance, manufacturer-claimed aerodynamic development, and track-specific hardware. That combination can make sense to a collector or rider who values the Aprilia Racing connection and intends to use or preserve a specialist track motorcycle. It is a weaker fit for someone seeking a general-purpose street superbike: the available documents position it around track performance and do not establish road legality.
