No—not on the evidence available. The official Acura specification reviewed is for the 2024 ZDX and gives EPA range ratings of 278 to 313 miles, depending on trim. The official launch material presents the ZDX as a North American model; it does not establish that the vehicle was sold in Japan or that it was Japan’s longest-range EV. Honda reportedly ended ZDX production in September 2025, but current inventory has not been confirmed.
What is the Acura ZDX’s EPA range?
Acura’s 2024 specification lists three range ratings. These are EPA ratings for the U.S.-market configurations, not guarantees of distance in everyday driving.

All three use a 102-kWh, 400-volt battery mounted beneath the passenger cabin. Acura notes that actual range varies with conditions, driving and maintenance, battery age and condition, and other factors. The figures should therefore be treated as standardized ratings for comparing these trims, not a promise of a particular trip distance.
Honda’s 2023 launch announcement gave earlier preliminary anticipated EPA estimates: 325 miles for the single-motor A-Spec, 315 miles for the dual-motor A-Spec, and 288 miles for Type S. Those estimates are not the later ratings in Acura’s 2024 specification, so they should not be mixed with the final figures as though they were measured on the same basis.

Was the ZDX sold in Japan?
The official Honda material reviewed places the ZDX in Acura’s North American EV lineup, with customer deliveries announced at Acura dealerships. It does not establish a Japan-market launch, nor does it establish that the ZDX was unavailable through every possible Japanese channel. A claim that it was Japan’s longest-range EV would require evidence that it was sold in Japan and a comparison against vehicles officially available there using the same range standard and model year. That comparison is not established here.
Is there a 2025 Acura ZDX?
The official specification available here is for the 2024 model, not a 2025 Japan-market ZDX. The Japan Times reported that Honda ended ZDX production in September 2025. That report does not confirm whether new, dealer, or used inventory remains in any market, so buyers should verify availability directly rather than assume that production status determines local stock.

How charging is managed
Acura says AcuraLink replaced the Acura EV app as the hub for managing charging sessions at home and at public stations. The battery specification alone does not establish compatibility for a particular third-party charger, cable, or adapter; verify equipment compatibility with Acura or the equipment maker before purchasing or using it.
