The 2025 Honda NT1100 makes a credible equipment-led case for touring value, but the available evidence does not establish it as the single best bang-for-buck touring motorcycle. The answer depends on the market, transmission and suspension trim, the price basis, and whether luggage and comfort accessories are included.
What does the 2025 NT1100 cost?
Honda’s published prices differ by market and configuration, so they are not directly comparable. Honda UK lists the 2025 manual NT1100 at £12,799. Honda’s current UK page also shows a separate 2026 model, so the £12,799 figure applies specifically to the 2025 manual version. Honda UK specifications and prices.
In the United States, Honda lists the 2025 NT1100 DCT at $11,899 base MSRP, plus a $775 destination charge, for a stated total MSRP of $12,674. That is not an out-the-door figure: it excludes state taxes and does not establish what a dealer will charge. Honda Powersports’ U.S. listing.
These prices describe different countries and versions. Converting pounds to dollars would not produce a fair comparison: tax treatment, destination charges, trim, included accessories, and dealer discounts also matter. Neither figure establishes a local transaction price or a ranking against competing motorcycles.

What touring equipment comes with it?
UK-market standard equipment
Honda UK says the NT1100 includes panniers, a rear rack, a centre stand, and ACC and USB charging sockets. That standard-equipment claim is specific to Honda’s UK offering; it should not be assumed to describe the U.S. model. Honda UK’s NT1100 overview.
Optional luggage and comfort equipment
Honda lists accessory choices including a 50-litre top box with an inner bag and passenger backrest. Its Voyage pack includes items such as a tank bag, comfort seats and footpegs, and fog lights. These are options, not all standard equipment. Their added cost can change the value calculation, particularly if a rider needs passenger comfort or more luggage capacity.

Range is a test-cycle claim, not a guarantee
Honda’s Engine Room says the 20-litre tank gives a range of 400km in WMTC mode. This is a manufacturer test-cycle figure, not a promise of real-world distance between fuel stops. Speed, load, terrain, conditions, and riding style can affect actual range. Honda Engine Room: NT1100.

A sound value comparison needs to use motorcycles from the same market and model year, with comparable transmission and suspension versions. Compare the costs and equipment on a like-for-like basis:
Best Value
- Scratch Resistance: Utilizes advanced nanotechnology to resist scratches and abrasions, extending the dashboard's lifespan.
- Stain Resistance: Effectively prevents common pollutants like stains and water spots, reducing cleaning frequency for a better driving experience.
- High Transparency: Maintains clear visibility of dashboard information without affecting display quality, ensuring driving safety.
- UV Protection: Blocks harmful UV rays to prevent aging and discoloration of the dashboard, extending its lifespan.
- Easy Installation: Self-adhesive design enables easy installation at home without professional skills, saving time and cost.
- Price: use an out-the-door price or clearly defined list price, and identify destination or freight charges and mandatory fees.
- Luggage: separate standard panniers from optional top boxes, inner bags, and other luggage.
- Comfort and touring practicality: consider weather protection, passenger comfort, storage, and range claims—not just engine output.
- Performance and weight: compare like specifications, while keeping manufacturer figures distinct from independent measurements.
The available figures make the NT1100’s touring kit and specifications relevant to a value case, but there is no matching competitor price-and-equipment set or independent comparative test here to prove it leads the category. A claim that it is the most bang-for-buck choice therefore remains unverified.
