For the 911, Leiters was explicit: “Because there will never be a fully electric 911. We stand by that.” This is the CEO’s stated position at the June 2026 meeting; it is not a promise that every other Porsche model will follow the same powertrain path. Porsche’s June AGM statement

Electric 718 Boxster and Cayman

A combustion and plug-in hybrid B-segment SUV
Porsche plans to present a new B-segment SUV in 2028, offered with combustion and plug-in hybrid powertrains. What the delivery figures say—and what they don’t
Porsche AG reported that battery-electric vehicles made up 19.4% of its automotive deliveries in the first half of 2026, down from 23.5% in the first half of 2025. In its H1 2026 results, the company forecast a 24–26% BEV share for full-year 2026. The forecast is not a final result, and neither figure means Porsche is committing to an all-electric lineup. An earlier statement is sometimes easy to confuse with the new strategy. In 2024, Oliver Blume, then Chairman of Porsche AG’s Executive Board, said more than 80% of new vehicles “could be all-electric in 2030,” depending on customer demand and how electric mobility developed in different regions. The October announcement presented the wider strategy through five chapters, including financial ambitions.
