Not yet, based on the available evidence. Hyundai’s N Vision 74 is a hydrogen fuel-cell and battery-electric concept that the company calls a high-performance “Rolling Lab.” It appeared by name on an investor-presentation slide about future EVs, but that is not a confirmed production commitment. Hyundai has not established a launch date, price, final production specifications, or market availability.
What is the Hyundai N Vision 74?
The N Vision 74 is a high-performance concept combining a battery-electric drive system with a hydrogen fuel-cell system. Hyundai describes it as a Rolling Lab: a vehicle for developing and demonstrating technology, not a retail model announced for sale. Its styling also looks back to the company’s 1974 Pony Coupe concept. Hyundai’s design page says the N Vision 74 “elevates Pony as Hyundai’s timeless icon,” while design executive SangYup Lee said its future-oriented design reflects respect for the work behind the original Pony Coupe concept.
Hyundai’s published concept specifications describe two rear motors, each rated at 235 kW, with torque-vectoring control and separate cooling systems. The layout was developed around the fuel-cell system.
What are its published specifications?
Hyundai’s official figures describe the concept, not a confirmed production car. The company’s specification page does not show a publication year in the reviewed text, and the performance, range and refueling claims are not independent test results.

Why did reports say it was headed for production?
A September 2, 2024 New Atlas report pointed to an investor-presentation slide listing the N Vision 74 among Hyundai’s plans for 21 new EV models before 2030. The car was named but not pictured. The report itself cautioned that forward-looking investor presentations do not guarantee a vehicle will reach production.
A later Autoblog account also described a slide naming “Hyundai N (vision 74)” among high-performance EV examples, while noting that Hyundai had denied earlier production reports. That slide does not clarify whether the company will build the car, or how closely a possible future model would resemble the concept. The investor-slide references are evidence of interest or planning, not confirmation of a retail launch.

What is confirmed—and what remains unknown?
- Confirmed: Hyundai presents the N Vision 74 as a hydrogen fuel-cell and battery-electric Rolling Lab, and publishes concept-level technical figures for it.
- Not established: A production commitment, launch date, final specifications, price, production volume, or which markets would receive a production model.
- Still rumor: Claims about a 2026 arrival, limited production, horsepower, racing plans, or pricing are not confirmed by the cited Hyundai material.
Until Hyundai announces a production model with concrete details, the accurate description is that the N Vision 74 is a concept whose production status remains unconfirmed—not a sports car officially slated for sale.
