For original operating and safety information, use the correct year’s owner’s manual. General Motors provides a 2006 Pontiac Solstice manual at this official PDF. A manual for one year is not a substitute for the edition matching the car you are considering.

Age makes condition more important than reputation
Every Solstice GXP on the market is an older used performance car. Two cars with the same trim can have very different histories, storage conditions, modifications, and deferred maintenance. Is a Solstice GXP practical as a daily driver?

Manual or automatic for a first sports car?
