Intel’s Arc A760A is a discrete automotive GPU designed to add graphics and AI-compute capacity to sophisticated vehicle cockpits. Intel announced it in August 2024 as a companion to its software-defined vehicle (SDV) system-on-chips—not as a consumer graphics card or a confirmed autonomous-driving processor. Intel’s original availability and deployment dates were targets; its official materials reviewed here do not confirm a production vehicle using the A760A or that those targets were met.
What is the Intel Arc A760A?
The A760A is Intel’s first announced automotive discrete GPU: a separate graphics processor intended to work alongside an automotive SDV system-on-chip (SoC). Intel positions it for vehicles with demanding cockpit features, such as multiple high-definition displays, detailed 3D interfaces, in-car entertainment, and AI-enabled interaction. The announcement describes intended uses and demonstrations, not proof that those functions are deployed in customer vehicles.
Intel says automakers can use an SDV SoC with integrated graphics in entry- and mid-level trims, then add a discrete GPU for higher-end models that need more compute headroom. Intel also says software can be shared between integrated and discrete graphics. Those are Intel’s platform claims, not an independently validated comparison of vehicle performance.
What does the A760A’s specification sheet say?
Intel’s August 2024 fact sheet lists these A760A specifications. They are manufacturer-published figures, not independent benchmark results.

How could a discrete GPU help a car?
More cockpit displays and graphics
A vehicle’s cockpit can combine instrument displays, center screens, passenger displays, and 3D interfaces. Intel presents the A760A as additional compute for systems that need to drive several high-definition displays or render more detailed graphics. Whether a specific vehicle uses the GPU for those jobs depends on its design.

Note: Enable IR LED via the menu for black-and-white night recording, or set to automatic mode
On-device assistants and interaction
Intel’s launch materials describe local large language models, voice interaction, camera and gesture recognition, and AI-enabled cockpit experiences. A GPU’s matrix engines can contribute to AI workloads, but a peak TOPS value alone does not establish which models a vehicle can run, how quickly it will respond, or whether a given automaker will enable a feature.
Entertainment and gaming
Intel also described entertainment and gaming as possible cockpit experiences. These are product ambitions, not evidence that a particular car ships with A760A-powered games or a consumer-PC-like gaming experience.

Not an established autonomous-driving processor
The A760A announcement focuses on cockpit compute. The reviewed materials do not establish it as an autonomous-driving or safety-critical perception accelerator. Intel’s later collaboration announcement discusses Black Sesame Technologies combining ADAS technology with Intel SDV SoC and Arc graphics for a central compute platform, but it does not identify the A760A as the GPU in that work.
What software and vehicle requirements are listed?
Intel’s fact sheet names automotive-oriented software and virtualization components, including the ACRN Hypervisor, Yocto Linux, Android, and Linux in a container within an Android virtual machine. It also lists Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenCL, OpenVINO, oneAPI, Proton, virgl, Venus, SR-IOV, and virtio display. This breadth signals a platform intended to fit into vehicle compute and virtualization environments, rather than a plug-in upgrade for an ordinary PC.

- 【Ultra-Fast Wi-Fi 6 & App Control & GPS】The 360 camera for car features next-gen Wi-Fi 6 with 5.8GHz, delivering speeds up to 20MB/s—10× faster than 2.4GHz. Built-in high-precision GPS records routes, speed, coordinates, and altitude. The free app allows instant preview, download, save, and sharing of footage—ideal for evidence or sharing with family. (No cloud storage or remote viewing.) Reconnect Wi-Fi each time you view for privacy—offline keeps data breach risk low.
The listed -40°C to 105°C operating range and 225 W total board power are also relevant to vehicle integration: automakers must design the surrounding compute platform, power delivery, and thermal management around the component. A temperature rating by itself does not establish a vehicle’s reliability, qualification, or safety certification.

Intel announced a second-generation Arc B-series Graphics for Automotive on January 7, 2025, with production targeted by the end of 2025. That was a separate roadmap statement, not confirmation of production or a replacement for the A760A status. On April 22, 2025, Intel named ModelBest and Black Sesame Technologies in automotive AI and integrated-compute collaborations. The announcement connects Arc graphics to the partners’ work generally, but does not say those projects specifically use A760A.
Is the A760A a graphics card consumers can buy?
Intel describes the A760A as an automotive GPU for vehicle compute platforms. The reviewed sources do not establish a consumer retail listing, a compatible consumer-PC replacement, or interchangeability with Intel’s desktop Arc cards. Its automotive software, virtualization, environmental, and integration requirements make it a different product category from a standard gaming graphics card.
