Hyundai India’s current price page lists Corporate in the manual range, while its feature page identifies the petrol automated-manual-transmission (AMT) configuration as SX+. Before comparing money or equipment, make the dealer’s written quote state the model year, fuel and gearbox. Corporate can be the sensible choice when its quoted price covers the equipment you need; SX+ is the relevant choice when you specifically want AMT convenience and the higher-trim equipment confirmed on your car.
There is no published Corporate-to-SX+ price gap or complete Corporate equipment column in the official material reviewed. Use the framework below to compare two actual quotations rather than relying on trim names alone.

What “Corporate” and “SX Plus” mean on the AURA
Corporate is listed as a manual variant
Hyundai India’s current AURA price page lists E, S, Corporate, SX and SX(O) in the manual lineup. That listing is the reason a Corporate quotation should normally be expected to show a manual gearbox, unless the dealer’s document explicitly says otherwise. A trim name on a sales message is not enough: ask for the exact variant code, model year, fuel and transmission on the pro-forma invoice.
SX+ is the AMT configuration in the feature material
The current feature page places the petrol AMT option in the SX column and labels the configuration “SX+”. In other words, “SX Plus” in a buyer’s message generally points to an SX-grade AURA with the automated manual transmission, not to a separate manual Corporate trim. If a dealer offers an “SX Plus” car, check that the written quote actually says AMT and identifies the same model year shown in the quotation.

Why the distinction changes the comparison
A manual Corporate and a petrol AMT SX+ differ in driving hardware before you compare screens, wheels or cameras. They can also differ in fuel eligibility, feature availability and price. Treating them as two equipment packages on the same mechanical specification can produce a misleading verdict.
Price: compare two complete quotations, not a trim-name assumption
Hyundai India’s October 2026 price page gives the AURA range a starting ex-showroom price of ₹5,99,990. That is a range starting point, not a published Corporate-versus-SX+ delta. The material available for this comparison does not establish the ex-showroom price of each of those exact configurations or an official direct difference between them.
| Price item | What is established | What you must obtain |
|---|---|---|
| Range starting point | ₹5,99,990 ex-showroom on Hyundai India’s October 2026 price page | The ex-showroom figure for the exact Corporate or SX+ model year, fuel and gearbox |
| Corporate-to-SX+ difference | Not stated in the current official material reviewed | A same-day dealer quotation showing both variants on the same tax basis |
| On-road price | Varies by state registration, taxes, insurance and local charges | Separate line items for registration, road tax, insurance, handling or other dealer charges |
| Discounts and offers | Not established for these two configurations | A written validity date and confirmation of whether any offer applies to the exact variant |
Ask the dealer to prepare both quotes for the same city and the same insurance assumptions. Comparing one car’s ex-showroom number with another car’s on-road total hides the real difference. If one quotation includes accessories, extended warranty or a service package, have those items removed or itemised before judging value.

Powertrain and fuel choices
Petrol manual and petrol AMT
The AURA uses a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine in the manual and petrol AMT configurations described by Hyundai. The manufacturer publishes maximum power of 61 kW (83 PS) at 6,000 r/min and maximum torque of 113.8 Nm at 4,000 r/min for petrol. These are brochure specifications, not independent acceleration, refinement or fuel-economy test results.
With AMT, the car still uses an automated manual gearbox: the electronics operate the clutch and shift the gears for you. It removes routine clutch-pedal work in traffic, but it is not the same hardware or shift behaviour as a conventional torque-converter or dual-clutch automatic. Take a drive in the exact SX+ car and check low-speed creep, hill starts, parking manoeuvres and the delay you experience when requesting a quick overtake.
Petrol-plus-Hy-CNG manual variants
Hyundai also publishes selected petrol-plus-Hy-CNG manual variants. The brochure rates that fuel configuration at 50.5 kW (69 PS) at 6,000 r/min and 95.2 Nm at 4,000 r/min. The cited material does not establish a CNG SX+ AMT configuration, so do not assume that an AMT quotation can be converted to CNG simply because the AURA range offers CNG elsewhere.

CNG availability, boot arrangement, refuelling access and local station coverage are practical decisions for a buyer who drives high annual kilometres. Confirm that the fuel type printed on the order form matches your intended use; do not compare a petrol Corporate quote with a CNG manual car as though fuel costs and performance were interchangeable.

Equipment and safety: what the official matrix does and does not prove
The upper equipment matrix identifies several features on SX and SX(O): electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist, a rear camera with static guidelines and alloy wheels. Because SX+ is the AMT configuration shown in the feature material, these entries are useful indicators of what to look for on an SX+ quotation. They are not a complete Corporate-versus-SX+ checklist.
| Feature or label | What the official material indicates | How to verify your car |
|---|---|---|
| Electronic stability control | Marked on SX/SX(O) in the feature matrix | Confirm the exact SX+ model-year equipment sheet and inspect the vehicle or delivery checklist |
| Hill-start assist | Marked on SX/SX(O) | Ask whether it is included on the quoted AMT configuration and request a demonstration on an incline |
| Rear camera | Rear camera with static guidelines marked on SX/SX(O) | Check that the camera and guidelines operate on the infotainment screen in the exact car |
| Alloy wheels | Marked on SX/SX(O) | Match the wheel design and tyre specification to the invoice; do not count dealer-fitted replacements as factory equipment |
| AMT-only or “PL only” entries | The matrix uses these labels for some features | Ask the dealer to define each label for your fuel, gearbox and model year before treating the feature as standard |
| Corporate equipment | A complete Corporate column is not provided in the extracted current table | Obtain the Corporate variant’s own signed equipment list rather than inferring omissions or inclusions |
“PL only” should not be silently expanded into a feature promise. Have the salesperson write out what the label means in the configuration you are buying. The same caution applies to “AMT only”: a feature marked that way may not be available on a manual Corporate, while a feature shown on an SX column may still depend on fuel or production year.

Hyundai Motor India states on its AURA feature page: “Hyundai Motor India reserves the right to change specifications and equipment without prior notice.” Treat that as a reason to check the build sheet and the delivered vehicle, not as a substitute for checking them.
How to compare Corporate and SX+ step by step
- Write down the exact identity of each car. Record model year, variant name or code, fuel, transmission, colour and manufacturing or stock status. Ensure the SX+ entry explicitly says petrol AMT if that is what you intend to buy.
- Standardise the location. Request both quotations from the same city and dealership whenever possible. State registration taxes and insurance premiums can materially change the on-road total.
- Separate ex-showroom from on-road costs. Put ex-showroom, registration or road tax, insurance, fastag and every dealer charge in separate rows. A lower headline price is not a saving if mandatory charges are simply moved elsewhere.
- Remove optional products for the first comparison. Ask for accessories, extended warranty, maintenance packages and coatings to be listed separately. Decide on them only after the underlying car prices are clear.
- Check the gearbox in the vehicle and paperwork. Select the AMT mode, operate the gear selector and verify that the invoice uses the same transmission description. For Corporate, confirm that the car is the manual version you were shown.
- Match safety equipment line by line. Mark ESC, hill-start assist and the rear camera first, then verify airbags, braking equipment and other items on the current variant sheet. Do not transfer an SX/SX(O) entry to Corporate without written confirmation.
- Check convenience and infotainment hardware physically. Turn on the screen, pair a phone, test the camera, inspect steering controls and check the wheel and tyre specification. A brochure line or a salesperson’s memory is weaker evidence than the car’s equipment list and demonstration.
- Confirm fuel practicality. If considering a CNG manual variant, verify the fuel type, availability in your city and the boot arrangement. If considering petrol AMT, calculate your commute around petrol access and the traffic conditions in which AMT convenience matters.
- Ask for a dated final quote. Have the dealer sign or email a quote showing validity, delivery estimate, taxes and included equipment. Recheck it immediately before payment because Hyundai’s specifications and prices can change.
Which buyer should lean toward Corporate?
Choose Corporate when the manual suits your driving
Corporate is a logical shortlist for a buyer who is comfortable operating a clutch, wants the manual configuration and receives a quote that fits the budget. It can also make sense when your dealer confirms that the equipment you actually need—especially the safety and camera features—is present on that specific car. The official material does not establish a universal Corporate equipment list, so this conclusion depends on the written configuration rather than the badge.
Corporate is not automatically the “value” winner
A lower trim price is only useful if you would otherwise pay to add the missing equipment or accept a compromise in daily use. Price the car with any factory or dealer accessories you genuinely require, and compare that adjusted total with SX+. Do not assign a value to a feature that the dealer has not confirmed as standard.

Which buyer should lean toward SX+?
Choose SX+ when AMT convenience is the priority
SX+ is the relevant configuration for a buyer who wants the petrol AMT described on Hyundai’s feature page. It is particularly worth a test drive if your routine includes stop-start urban traffic, frequent parking or drivers who do not want a clutch pedal. The decision should be based on how the exact AMT car behaves for you, not on the assumption that every automatic transmission feels the same.
Pay for confirmed equipment, not a name
The SX/SX(O) matrix entries for ESC, hill-start assist, rear camera with static guidelines and alloy wheels explain why an SX+ quote may appeal to a buyer seeking more equipment. Confirm which of those entries apply to the exact SX+ model year and fuel, and verify any AMT-only or “PL only” notation. If the dealer cannot provide a configuration sheet, treat the equipment as unconfirmed and ask for another quote.
Running-cost and ownership questions the sources cannot answer
Neither the official pages nor the brochure establish an independently tested real-world fuel-economy comparison between Corporate and SX+. They also do not establish a variant-specific maintenance-cost difference or a measured AMT-versus-manual ownership total. Avoid choosing on an invented kilometre-per-litre figure or an unsupported service-cost claim.

Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →You can still make a sound ownership decision by collecting the missing inputs for your situation:
- Ask the dealer for the scheduled-service intervals and prices for the exact engine and gearbox.
- Use your own monthly kilometres and current local petrol or CNG prices when estimating fuel spend; label the result as your estimate, not a Hyundai test figure.
- Include insurance renewal, tyres and registration differences only when you have quotes for the same city and specification.
- For AMT, budget time for a proper test drive in congestion, on a slope and during parking. Smoothness and response are personal judgments that a brochure cannot supply.

Questions to put on the dealer’s order form
- What exact model year and variant code does “Corporate” or “SX+” refer to?
- Is the car petrol manual, petrol AMT or petrol-plus-Hy-CNG manual?
- Which current equipment sheet applies, and can I keep a copy with the quotation?
- Are ESC, hill-start assist, rear camera with static guidelines and alloy wheels factory-fitted on this vehicle?
- What do any “AMT only” or “PL only” labels mean for this fuel and gearbox?
- What is the ex-showroom price, and which registration, insurance and local charges create the on-road total?
- Which charges or products are optional, and what is the quote’s validity date?
- Will the delivered vehicle’s VIN, model year and equipment be checked against this written configuration?
Verdict: decide from the verified configuration
There is no responsible one-word winner between AURA Corporate and SX+. A manual Corporate can be the better buy when its confirmed equipment meets your needs and its same-city quotation is lower. SX+ can justify its price when you want the petrol AMT and the higher-trim equipment confirmed for that exact car. Because the official material does not publish a direct price gap or a complete Corporate feature column, obtain both dated quotations, compare identical cost categories and inspect the delivered equipment before paying.
