The transition is visible in the shift from fulfilling orders for the previous Commando and V4 platforms to preparing the Manx and Atlas ranges. Those launches and factory milestones show progress, but do not by themselves establish lasting sales or profitability.
How is TVS reviving Norton?

The strategy has moved through two product phases. TVS first described fulfilling orders for customers of the previous company with re-engineered Commando and V4 platforms. TVS’s FY2025–26 annual-report account says investment in Norton exceeded £250 million to date. That is a company-reported figure, not an independent valuation or a measure of commercial performance. The report also describes accelerated production readiness at Solihull. TVS annual reports

Design and engineering behind the new range
Norton said 200 designers and engineers across the UK, Italy and India contributed to the Manx and Atlas lines. It also reported a 25 per cent workforce increase in preparation for Manx production. Who owns Norton Motorcycles now?
TVS Motor Company owns Norton’s brand and certain assets following its April 2020 acquisition. TVS is the parent company backing the revival, while Norton remains the motorcycle brand and product identity. TVS’s June 2026 Atlas roll-out announcement

Are the new Norton motorcycles made in Britain or India?
Both countries are part of the manufacturing picture, but the site depends on the model. TVS identifies Solihull in the UK as the Manx production site, and its FY2025–26 report describes production readiness there. For Atlas, TVS announced that the first models rolled out at its Hosur plant in India in June 2026. A roll-out is a production milestone; it does not, by itself, confirm retail availability. What happened to the Commando 961 and V4 models?
Norton announced that production of the Commando 961, V4SV and V4CR ended in September 2025, ahead of the product-led range. Before that transition, TVS described fulfilling orders from the previous company using re-engineered Commando and V4 platforms. The end of production is distinct from any claim about remaining dealer stock or used-bike availability, which the cited announcement does not establish. What new Norton models are coming?
At EICMA in November 2025, Norton presented the Manx and Atlas families as the core of its new premium range. TVS’s FY2024–25 report had earlier outlined a six-model launch plan beginning with a 1200cc four-cylinder superbike. That was a plan reported at the time, not a guarantee that all six models would launch on a particular schedule. The later announcements establish the new family names and production milestones, but the sources cited here do not confirm current retail availability for every model. The key distinction is between a product announcement, factory readiness, roll-out, launch and sale to customers. TVS and Norton have documented the investment, product plans and manufacturing steps; these alone do not establish sales, profitability, market share or customer outcomes for the revived business.
