Short answer: there is no 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to stream. Formula 1 canceled the race on March 14, 2026, after originally scheduling it for April 17–19 at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The later Malaysian replacement was for Bahrain, not Saudi Arabia.
Updated August 10, 2026: The 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was canceled, so no legitimate live-race stream exists for that event. Formula 1’s official ticketing site has a 2027 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix waitlist, but the next race date, session schedule, and broadcast rights still need to be confirmed.
If you are planning for a future Saudi Arabian GP, whether the full race is free depends on your country, the rights holder for that specific year, and whether the broadcaster offers a free-to-air broadcast or an event-specific trial. In the United States, the current 2026 arrangement puts F1 on Apple TV, where a full race is normally paid but eligible new subscribers may be able to use a seven-day trial. That does not guarantee free access to a future Saudi race.
The fastest answer by location
| Where you are | Best legal route | Is the full race free? |
|---|---|---|
| United States | Apple TV; check the event page for a free weekend or eligible seven-day trial | Not automatically. Practice is free, selected race weekends may be free, and the full race normally requires a subscription. |
| Austria | Check ServusTV On or ORF for the confirmed year and event | Some races may be free to air, but the 2026 Saudi race was canceled and 2027 rights are not confirmed. |
| Belgium | Check RTBF and RTBF Auvio for the specific event | Do not assume a free live race until RTBF publishes the event listing. |
| United Kingdom | Sky UK is the listed broadcaster | A free highlights option is not the same as a free live full-race stream. |
| Australia | Check Fox Sports, Foxtel, and Kayo for the relevant year | Verify the specific event and any introductory offer; do not assume a free online broadcast. |
| Middle East and North Africa, including Turkey | beIN SPORTS or TOD | The announced arrangement is subscription-based, not a general free-stream option. |
For countries not listed, start with Formula 1’s country-by-country broadcaster directory, then check the local broadcaster’s page for the actual Saudi Arabian GP weekend. Rights can change by year, country, and even session.

First, confirm that there is a race to watch
The 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix was not postponed to another April date. Formula 1 announced that the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix would not take place in April because of the ongoing situation in the Middle East, and said that no April replacement races would be added. Read the official cancellation announcement.
Formula 1 and the FIA later announced that Sepang in Malaysia would host a replacement event for the Bahrain Grand Prix from October 2–4, 2026. The announcement said the rest of the schedule was unchanged; it did not restore the Saudi Arabian event. The Malaysia replacement announcement is the relevant source.
Formula 1’s official ticketing platform currently labels a Jeddah page Formula 1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2027 and offers a waitlist. That is evidence of a planned or expected future edition, not confirmation of a race date or television schedule. Do not carry the canceled 2026 date of April 17–19 into 2027.
What counts as free F1 coverage?
Streaming guides often use free to describe several very different things. Before signing up, determine whether you want practice, qualifying, the entire race weekend, the live Grand Prix, a replay, or simply timing updates.
| Access type | What you get | Does it satisfy a free full-race request? |
|---|---|---|
| Official free-to-air live race | A local rights holder carries the complete Grand Prix without a subscription in its licensed territory. | Yes. This is the clearest form of free access. |
| Official free streaming event | A broadcaster or platform makes that particular race available without a subscription or payment card. | Yes, if the full race is included and you are in the entitled territory. |
| Seven-day introductory trial | A paid service temporarily provides access to eligible new subscribers. | Not strictly free. It may avoid a long-term cost, but a payment method and automatic renewal may apply. |
| Free practice or qualifying | Selected sessions are available without paying. | No. It is partial weekend coverage. |
| Highlights or replay | Edited or delayed footage after the session or race. | No. It is not a live full-race stream. |
| Live timing, radio, or text commentary | Lap times, positions, updates, and possibly audio or written commentary. | No video race. It is a useful fallback when video is unavailable. |
| Pirated stream or unauthorized mirror | Unlicensed video, usually surrounded by aggressive advertising or suspicious links. | No. It is illegal, unreliable, and unsafe to recommend. |
United States: Apple TV is the current F1 home
Under the 2026 U.S. arrangement, Apple TV carries every Formula 1 practice session, qualifying session, Sprint, and Grand Prix. Apple lists the service at $12.99 per month and offers a seven-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. See Apple’s 2026 F1 announcement and its official F1 viewing page.
That creates three different possibilities for a future Saudi Arabian GP:
- A genuinely free event window: Apple says selected race weekends may be available free to non-subscribers. It does not promise that a future Saudi Arabian weekend will be selected, so check the event page rather than relying on a season-wide claim.
- A seven-day trial: An eligible new subscriber may be able to watch the weekend during the trial. This is a trial of a paid service, not an unconditional free stream.
- A normal monthly subscription: If the event is not free and the trial is unavailable, Apple TV is the current short-term legal fallback in the United States at $12.99 per month. It avoids a cable contract, but it is not free.
Apple says every practice session is available without a subscription. It also announced free practice and qualifying access through Yahoo Sports. Those options can cover part of the weekend, but they do not automatically include Sunday’s Grand Prix.
U.S. Apple TV subscribers can also link their Apple Account to access F1 TV Premium at no additional charge. That bundled access should not be confused with a free standalone F1 TV subscription: the Apple TV subscription is still the underlying paid access, and F1 TV availability and features vary by territory.

How to use the Apple TV trial without an unwanted charge
- Wait until the Saudi Arabian GP is officially scheduled and open the Apple TV F1 page or the event page.
- Confirm exactly what the offer says: free, free trial, or subscription required. Do not infer that a free practice listing includes the race.
- Check eligibility. Apple’s seven-day offer is for new subscribers; someone who has already subscribed or used a comparable trial may not qualify.
- If eligible, start the trial early enough for the practice, qualifying, and Grand Prix to fall within the seven-day period.
- Record the renewal date. If you do not want the $12.99 monthly charge, cancel through the service that bills the subscription.
- If Apple, Roku, Amazon, Google, or another third party handles billing, cancel through that platform. Canceling an unrelated account may not stop the renewal.
Do not start a trial now expecting it to cover an unconfirmed 2027 race. The trial window is tied to the subscription start date, not to a future event.
Other free U.S. options
Tubi: Tubi’s announced 2026 Formula 1 programming consists of creator-led live altcasts for Miami on May 3, Austin on October 25, and Las Vegas on November 21. Saudi Arabia is not on that published list. Tubi is therefore a possible source of selected alternative presentations, not a guaranteed free Saudi Arabian GP stream. An altcast may use different commentary, presentation, or feed choices from the standard F1 broadcast. The announcement is on Tubi’s corporate site.
Yahoo Sports: Apple’s announcement includes free U.S. streaming of practice and qualifying through Yahoo Sports. Check the listing for the future event, and do not mistake it for free Sunday race coverage.
Apple Sports: Apple Sports is a free iPhone app for live updates, standings, leaderboards, and race tracking. It is useful if you need positions and timing, but it is not a live-video replacement. Apple describes the app in its U.S. F1 rights announcement.

Free-to-air and official online options outside the U.S.
A stream that is free in one country may be blocked in another because sports rights are territorial. The right question is not which website has F1, but which official broadcaster is licensed to show the specific race in your location.
Austria
For the planned 2026 season, ORF and ServusTV shared Austrian F1 rights, with each scheduled to show 12 live races. The canceled Saudi Arabian GP was assigned to ServusTV and ServusTV On before the event was called off; ServusTV’s announcement is available here. This confirms the 2026 arrangement only. It does not establish who will carry a 2027 race.
ServusTV On or ORF may be a legitimate free-to-air route for an Austrian viewer when the relevant broadcaster has the live rights. ORF also explains that some sports streams are restricted to Austria because of licensing, so an Austrian stream should not be presented as a worldwide free option. See ORF’s geolocation explanation.
Belgium
Formula 1’s broadcaster directory lists RTBF among the Belgian broadcasters. Earlier coverage identified RTBF Auvio as a free online option for Belgian viewers, but that should be treated as a lead to verify, not a guarantee. Check RTBF’s event listing for the confirmed Saudi Arabian GP year before calling it a free live full-race stream.

United Kingdom
Formula 1 lists Sky UK as the British broadcaster. A free-to-air service may offer highlights or selected coverage, but highlights are not a free live Grand Prix. For a future Saudi race, verify whether the relevant Sky or other official listing includes live coverage, replay access, or only an edited program.
Australia
Formula 1’s Australian broadcast information lists Fox Sports, Foxtel, and Kayo. These should be checked for the specific year, event, subscription requirement, and any introductory promotion. Do not assume that an Australian platform’s general F1 availability means the Saudi race is free.
Middle East and North Africa
Formula 1 and beIN SPORTS announced a ten-year agreement covering MENA and Turkey through 2033. The arrangement includes practice, Sprint events, and Grands Prix through beIN SPORTS and its TOD streaming service. This is the primary regional route described in the announcement, but it is a subscription arrangement rather than a general free-stream option. See the Formula 1 and beIN SPORTS agreement.
How to check a future Saudi Arabian GP legally
- Verify the calendar: use Formula 1 or FIA information to confirm that the event exists, including its date and Jeddah venue.
- Choose your country: open Formula 1’s broadcaster directory. Treat it as a starting point, especially when a rights deal has recently changed.
- Open the rights holder’s event page: confirm whether it carries practice, qualifying, a Sprint, the live Grand Prix, and a replay.
- Check the access label: distinguish free, free-to-air, free trial, subscription, highlights, and live timing.
- Confirm territorial eligibility: make sure the stream is intended for viewers in your current country and that your account region matches.
- Check the feed: a standard international broadcast, local-language commentary, F1 TV feed, and creator-led altcast are not necessarily the same presentation.
- Check the renewal and cancellation terms: especially when using a trial or a subscription purchased through a television or mobile platform.
What you can still watch when there is no free full race
- Practice: In the United States, Apple says every practice session is free, subject to the current service arrangement.
- Qualifying: Yahoo Sports is part of the announced free U.S. practice and qualifying access, but verify the event listing.
- Selected alternative broadcasts: Tubi’s creator-led altcasts are free for the announced Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas dates, not Saudi Arabia.
- Live data: Apple Sports provides U.S. live updates, standings, leaderboards, and tracking. Formula 1’s official digital services may also provide timing, text coverage, or radio features depending on territory and plan.
- Highlights: Formula1.com and official broadcasters may publish post-session or post-race highlights. These are legal and useful, but they are not live full-race video.
If the race is important and no free full-race option is available, the most practical no-cable fallback in the United States is usually one month of the official service, provided Apple’s then-current rights and pricing still apply. Outside the U.S., use the licensed broadcaster for your country rather than an unofficial mirror.
Why VPN promises are not a reliable answer
A VPN can be a legitimate privacy tool, but it should not be presented as a guaranteed method for watching a foreign free stream. F1’s subscription terms say availability differs by territory, that a user’s home territory is verified, and that users must not use technology to mask or disguise their location or circumvent access restrictions. Review the F1 TV subscription terms.
There are practical problems as well: streaming services can block VPN IP addresses, a payment account may reveal a different country, and an account can fail when its location does not match the service’s rights. Use only a stream you are entitled to access in your current location. This article does not provide geo-evasion instructions.
What not to trust
- Pages promising a 2026 Saudi Arabian GP stream without mentioning that the event was canceled.
- Old 2025 guides that recommend ESPN or other previous U.S. options as though they describe the 2026 rights arrangement.
- Listings that call free practice, qualifying, highlights, or a live blog the full race.
- Pop-up-heavy mirror sites, social-media links, and downloads claiming to unlock F1 video.
- Foreign broadcaster links described as available worldwide when the service is territorially restricted.
- Claims that every Apple TV race is free, when Apple’s current wording limits free race access to selected weekends.
- Fake ticket or subscription pages. For future attendance, use Formula1.com, the official promoter, or a named broadcaster; the official Saudi Arabian GP ticket page warns readers about fraudulent ticketing sites and suspicious messages.
The F1 broadcaster directory can also lag behind a new rights arrangement. For example, the current directory still lists ESPN for the United States, while Apple’s newer 2026 announcement identifies Apple TV as the exclusive U.S. home of F1. When information conflicts, prefer the newer, event-specific rights announcement and confirm the live event page.

The player says the video is unavailable in your region
Check your current country, account region, and the broadcaster’s territorial rights. An official Austrian or Belgian player may be restricted to viewers in that country. Do not assume that changing a device setting or using a VPN makes you entitled to the stream.
The Apple TV trial does not appear
The offer may be limited to new subscribers. You may have previously subscribed, already used a trial, or have an Apple TV subscription billed through another platform. Sign in with the account that would actually be charged and read the offer terms before confirming.
The page shows only highlights
You are probably viewing a highlights or F1 Access page rather than live-race coverage. Look for explicit labels for the live Grand Prix, full replay, or subscription tier. A highlight clip cannot be upgraded into a live race by changing the video quality.
The Apple TV app opens but F1 is not visible
Update the app and device, sign out and back in to the U.S. Apple Account associated with the subscription, and check that the event is available in the account’s region. Apple lists access through the Apple TV app, web, smart TVs, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation, Xbox, and other supported devices. Its current requirements include iOS 26.2 or later, tvOS 26.2 or later, and macOS Tahoe 26.2 or later; check Apple’s live requirements before a future race because supported versions can change.
The video works on a phone but not a television
Confirm that the television or streaming device is supported, update its operating system and app, and try the web player as a diagnostic. If the subscription is active on the phone but not the television, verify that both devices use the same Apple Account or authorized platform account.
The trial renewed unexpectedly
Find the renewal receipt and identify who billed the subscription. Cancel through Apple, Roku, Amazon, Google, or the other third-party platform that processed the purchase. F1’s terms state that third-party subscriptions generally must be canceled through that third party. Do not assume deleting the app cancels the subscription.
The race is canceled after I subscribe
Check the provider’s cancellation and refund policy. A canceled event does not automatically guarantee a refund, and no provider’s refund outcome should be promised in advance.
FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix free to watch online?
Not as a universal worldwide stream. A full race is free only when an official broadcaster makes it free in your territory. In the United States, Apple TV’s 2026 arrangement provides free practice and selected free race weekends, while a full Grand Prix normally requires a subscription or an eligible seven-day trial.

Was the 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix canceled?
Yes. Formula 1 canceled the race on March 14, 2026. It had been scheduled for April 17–19 at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The later Malaysia event replaced Bahrain, not Saudi Arabia, so there was no 2026 Saudi race to stream.
When is the next Saudi Arabian Grand Prix?
Formula 1’s official ticketing site currently has a 2027 Saudi Arabian GP waitlist, but the official pages reviewed do not verify a 2027 race date, session times, or broadcast schedule. Check Formula 1 and the local rights holder before making plans.
Can I watch the full Saudi Arabian GP free in the United States?
Only if Apple designates that race weekend as a free event or you qualify for an applicable introductory trial. Apple TV is otherwise $12.99 per month under the current 2026 U.S. arrangement. Practice is free, and Yahoo Sports is included in the announced free practice and qualifying coverage, but that does not guarantee free Sunday race video.
Does Apple TV’s free trial include F1?
Apple currently offers a seven-day trial for eligible new subscribers, and F1 is part of the U.S. Apple TV service. Confirm that the specific Saudi Arabian GP is live during the trial and check the renewal date. Existing or previous subscribers may not qualify.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesIs Tubi showing the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix?
Tubi’s announced 2026 creator-led F1 altcasts cover Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas. Saudi Arabia is not on that list. Tubi should not be treated as a guaranteed Saudi GP stream, and an altcast may differ from the standard F1 broadcast.
Can I watch F1 practice and qualifying free?
In the United States, Apple says every practice session is free, and its announcement includes free practice and qualifying through Yahoo Sports. Verify the future event listing because free access does not automatically extend to the Grand Prix.
Does F1 TV work in the United States?
F1 TV availability and features vary by territory. Under the current U.S. arrangement, Apple TV subscribers can link their Apple Account to access F1 TV Premium at no additional charge. F1 TV’s terms also restrict access by territory and prohibit masking location or bypassing restrictions.
Can I use a VPN to watch a foreign broadcaster?
A VPN may be useful for privacy, but it is not a guaranteed or necessarily permitted way to bypass territorial rights. F1’s terms prohibit masking location or circumventing access restrictions, and broadcasters may block VPN addresses. Use only a service you are entitled to access in your current location.

Where can I watch the replay if I miss the race?
Use the official rights holder’s replay or highlights page for your country. Confirm whether it offers a full replay or only edited highlights. An official replay may require the same subscription as the live broadcast and may not be available in every territory.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: there is no 2026 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix stream because the race was canceled. For a future edition, check the official calendar and your country’s rights holder before searching for a free stream. In the United States, Apple TV is the current F1 platform: eligible new subscribers may have a seven-day trial, practice is free, and selected race weekends may be free, but a full Saudi Arabian GP is not automatically free. Outside the U.S., a legitimate free full-race option depends on the local broadcaster and territorial rights.
