The safest way to make a Lamborghini Urus Performante more pleasant on ordinary roads is to select STRADA, bring the tires and alignment back to factory condition, and replace worn or unsuitable tires only after confirming the exact Lamborghini-approved fitment. The Performante uses a sporting chassis with steel springs and dampers, so mode changes can alter its behavior but cannot turn it into a soft-riding luxury SUV. Use EGO only when you know what each setting changes
EGO allows the driver to specify steering, suspension, and traction dynamics. The cited Lamborghini material does not publish the exact adjustment range, and menu labels or available combinations can vary by software and market. If your owner’s manual provides a softer suspension choice within EGO, compare it with STRADA on the same route. Why the chassis has a firm baseline
Lamborghini’s 2024 brochure lists multi-link suspension at the front and rear, steel springs and dampers, electromechanical active roll stabilization, and electronic damper control. This is not an adjustable-air-spring system. The active roll hardware controls body movement in corners, while the dampers and steel springs still have to manage sharp inputs from large wheels and performance tires. A mode change can modify damping and response, but the available specifications do not support promising a transformation to limousine softness.

Pressure, load, and temperature: avoid the common trap
Correct pressure is a safety and handling requirement, not a comfort tuning experiment. Underinflation can increase sidewall flex and heat, damage the tire, reduce steering precision, and make the vehicle feel less controlled. Overinflation can make sharp edges feel harsher and reduce the contact patch. Neither should be used to chase a quieter ride.

Alignment matters for both comfort and sound. Excessive toe can scrub the tread and create a saw-tooth pattern; camber-related shoulder wear can produce a droning frequency that rises with speed. Correcting alignment will not make a performance tire silent, but it can stop an avoidable noise from getting worse. The available Lamborghini material does not validate a particular aftermarket kit for quieter or more comfortable operation. - Do not disable stability, traction, damper, or active-roll systems to chase comfort.
- Do not fit a tire solely because its width and diameter look similar; the staggered setup and approval markings matter.

How to judge whether the change worked
Because no official model-specific decibel or ride-comfort figures are published, use a repeatable personal test rather than claiming a numerical improvement. Drive the same section of coarse asphalt, smooth asphalt, patched pavement, and expansion joints at the same speeds in the same direction. Keep the windows closed, climate fan and audio settings constant, and record cabin impressions separately for tire roar, impact sharpness, vibration, and rattles.
A phone sound meter can show a trend, but it is not an instrumented vehicle test: microphone placement, wind, traffic, and road texture can overwhelm a small difference.
