Why the Audi R8 V10 needs special oil-check discipline

Audi also describes a dry-sump oil supply with a separate oil tank rather than a conventional wet sump. The engine’s character does not reduce its need for routine service. High-revving naturally aspirated engines still depend on clean oil, correctly gapped ignition components, stable coolant, effective filtration and accurate electronic diagnostics.
