Then choose the hybrid output tier
All of the current examples here combine a turbocharged V8 with an electric motor. Bentley separates the range into two system-output levels. The names are important: a High Performance Hybrid figure belongs to GT or GT Azure applications, while an Ultra Performance Hybrid figure belongs to GT Speed or GT Mulliner applications. Do not combine the power number from one tier with the acceleration or range of another.

The High Performance Hybrid figures come from Bentley’s 26MY Continental GT customer book dated April 2025. The Ultra Performance Hybrid figures and its range, fuel-consumption and emissions values come from the 26MY Continental GT customer book dated July 2025. Both books state that performance figures may be subject to final certification. The July book also separates market-specific WLTP and US values.
What the two tiers mean for a buyer
Choose High Performance Hybrid when the regular GT or GT Azure specification already meets your performance requirement and you prefer to evaluate comfort, finish and available options without paying for the top output tier. Choose Ultra Performance Hybrid when the additional system output and the Speed or Mulliner specification are central to the purchase. The difference is not a software setting that can be added later; it is tied to the trim and vehicle configuration shown in Bentley’s books.
Acceleration figures use different reference speeds, so compare like with like. A 0–60 mph time should not be read as interchangeable with a 0–100 km/h time. Bentley’s current Continental GT page describes a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 coupled to an electric motor and labels the displayed system a High Performance Hybrid. For the coupe specification shown on that page, Bentley reports 52.0 miles WLTP electric range and 535.0 miles WLTP driving range. It also lists 27.4 mpg combined with the battery discharged and 68.9 mpg weighted fuel consumption.

Then confirm the exact model’s regional certification and charging equipment with the retailer. The published data does not establish charging time, connector type or a guaranteed real-world electric distance for every GT or GTC.

The Frankfurt Bentley retailer’s 2026 Continental GTC V8 Hybrid listing gives one standard-convertible example: 671 bhp, 686 lb-ft and 3.7 seconds to 62 mph. The 686 lb-ft torque unit is approximately 930 Nm, but the listing’s own units and test speed should remain attached to its figures.
The Köln retailer’s 2026 Continental GTC Speed listing gives a different configuration: 575 kW, 1,000 Nm and 3.4 seconds to 100 km/h. That is a Speed car, not the standard GTC example. The two listings demonstrate why a GTC number cannot be applied automatically to every convertible. They also show market-specific WLTP consumption and emissions data, which must be checked against the car and jurisdiction you are buying in.
Match the car to how you will use it
For frequent open-air driving
Choose the GTC when lowering the roof is a recurring reason to own the car, not an occasional novelty. Before ordering, sit in the exact vehicle, operate the roof controls, and inspect how your normal luggage fits with the roof in the positions you expect to use. Current sources do not provide a matched coupe-versus-GTC luggage measurement, so obtain the retailer’s dimensions for the specific build.

For long-distance closed-roof touring
The GT is the straightforward choice if you want a permanent roof and do not expect to use a convertible regularly. Evaluate the actual car’s seats, climate equipment, ride and technology rather than assuming every GT carries identical equipment. Trim names do not guarantee identical options across markets.

Start with GT Speed or GT Mulliner and the Ultra Performance Hybrid. Its customer-book output and acceleration figures are the highest in the supplied 2026 range. Confirm whether the local car carries the same certified specification and whether its equipment, wheel and tyre choice suits your roads; the headline output alone does not decide comfort or usability.
For strong performance without the top tier
GT and GT Azure use the 671 bhp High Performance Hybrid specification in Bentley’s April 2025 customer book. This tier is already a high-output system, so compare its standard and optional equipment with the Speed or Mulliner car instead of assuming that the less powerful trim is inadequately equipped.
