There is no single winner between the ABZO Sigilo and VLF Strada. The right choice depends on the exact trim, your daily distance, where you can charge, whether you must carry the battery indoors, and the service support available in your city. ABZO’s entry-level Sigilo X is listed below the VLF Strada City, while the Strada Max has the largest published battery and range claim. Those figures are manufacturer or launch-report claims, not independent real-world test results.
Compare a specific Sigilo trim with a specific Strada trim, obtain a current on-road quotation, and get warranty, charger, delivery and service terms in writing before paying a booking amount.

Start with the exact trims, not the model names
“ABZO Sigilo” and “VLF Strada” each refer to a family of variants rather than one fixed specification. ABZO’s product material lists Sigilo X, Z and Z+, while launch coverage for the Strada distinguishes City and Max. Battery capacity, claimed range, top speed and price change by trim.

ABZO’s broader homepage FAQ describes the Sigilo family as offering approximately 155–162 km, but its variant table separately lists 100 km for X and Z and 162 km for Z+. Use the variant table for a trim-level comparison and ask the seller to explain any different number on a quotation or booking page.
The Z and Z+ naming and price presentation are not perfectly aligned across ABZO’s public material. Do not assume that the ₹1,36,837 figure applies to every Z-family configuration or that a Z+ price can be inferred from it.

ABZO lists the Sigilo X at ₹99,900, which is below the Strada City’s reported ₹1.20 lakh ex-showroom price. ABZO’s Sigilo Z is shown at ₹1,36,837, below the Strada Max’s reported ₹1.55 lakh ex-showroom price. These are not like-for-like conclusions until you confirm the Sigilo trim, battery and equipment included in each quote.
“Ex-showroom” excludes some or all registration, insurance, road-tax and local charges, depending on the quotation format used by the seller. An introductory price can also be time-limited. Ask for an itemised on-road statement for your city rather than comparing two headline numbers.

- Exact trim name and battery configuration.
- Ex-showroom price and every applicable local charge.
- Registration, insurance and any handling or documentation fee.
- Charger, delivery, accessories and extended-cover costs.
- Booking amount, refund or cancellation conditions and the date the quote expires.
Range: compare your daily route, not the biggest number
The Sigilo X and Z are listed with 100 km, the Z+ with 162 km, the Strada City with 130 km IDC and the Strada Max with 250 km IDC. None of these numbers is an independent real-world test result. Actual distance varies with rider and passenger weight, speed mode, traffic, gradients, tyre pressure, temperature, battery age and how much reserve you keep.
IDC is a standardised test-cycle figure. It allows useful comparison within the same testing framework, but it does not guarantee that a Strada Max will travel 250 km on your normal route. The ABZO numbers are manufacturer claims and should be treated in the same cautious way.

Use a reserve-based calculation
- Measure your normal round-trip distance, including school, work, shopping and likely detours.
- Double that distance if you need to travel the route on two separate days without charging, or calculate the total distance between charging opportunities.
- Keep a reserve for weather, traffic and battery ageing instead of planning to arrive at zero percent.
- Ask the dealer whether the displayed range is measured in a particular mode and whether the estimate changes with a second rider.
For a short urban commute with dependable overnight charging, the 2 kWh Sigilo X or Z may be sufficient on paper. If your route is long, charging access is irregular or you want fewer charging stops, the larger Sigilo Z+ or Strada Max provides more claimed capacity. That does not prove that one will deliver better efficiency or ride quality in your conditions.
Battery removal and charging access
Both product families are described as having removable batteries. VLF launch reporting says the Strada packs can be charged either installed in the scooter or removed. This matters when the scooter is parked in a basement, shared lot or street location without a nearby socket.
Removable does not automatically mean convenient. Before purchase, physically inspect how the pack is released, how far you must carry it, whether a locking mechanism is involved and where the charger connects. Public specifications do not establish every pack’s weight, carrying handle design or removal procedure, so ask for a demonstration on the exact trim.
Strada charging information
BikeWale’s 13 October launch report says the Strada uses a 10A charger and takes approximately three hours for City and six hours for Max. Autocar’s launch report said charger wattage was still awaiting clarification. Treat the times as launch-report claims and confirm the charger supplied with your scooter, the input requirement and whether the quoted time is from empty to full.
Sigilo charging information
ABZO’s product page lists charging times by variant, while its FAQ presents different conditions. Because the public figures are not fully consistent, request the written charging time for your exact battery and charger. Ask whether the time assumes a particular starting state, a dedicated outlet or a temperature range.
Questions for apartment and office charging
- Can the battery be safely removed without specialist tools?
- Is the supplied charger intended for a standard domestic outlet?
- How much floor and ventilation space does charging require?
- Can the battery be charged indoors under the manufacturer’s instructions?
- Who pays for a replacement charger or battery outside warranty?
Performance, braking and equipment
ABZO lists the Sigilo X at 65 km/h and the Z and Z+ at 85 km/h. Autocar reports the Strada’s Eco, City and Sport limits as 45, 65 and 85 km/h. Matching peak speed does not mean matching acceleration, stability, braking feel or passenger comfort.
Autocar reports a shared Strada motor rated at 3 kW, with 4.8 kW peak power and 34 Nm peak torque. These are launch specifications, not an independently measured performance test. Ask whether the quoted motor figures apply equally to City and Max and how performance changes at a low state of charge.

Reported Strada equipment includes a 5-inch TFT display, LED lighting, keyless ignition, dual disc brakes with combined braking system (CBS), 16-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels, USB Type-A and Type-C ports, and reverse function. The launch reports say the Strada does not have ABS. Verify the exact standard equipment before treating any item as a buying advantage.
ABZO material mentions reverse mode, a display and keyless start, along with other features that vary by trim. Check the scooter in person and have the salesperson identify which functions are standard on X, Z and Z+ rather than assuming that a feature shown in a family photograph is included on the least expensive version.
Ergonomics and road use
Autocar lists the Strada with a 780 mm seat height, 175 mm ground clearance and a reported kerb weight of 98 kg, likely for the City trim. The Max should be heavier because of its larger battery, but a final Max weight was not established in the launch material. Confirm whether you can place both feet securely, manoeuvre the scooter without power and lift or roll the battery safely.
Compare the braking hardware, tyre sizes, suspension travel and passenger foot-rest position during a test ride. A valid driving licence is required for the ABZO test ride. A short ride cannot establish long-term reliability, but it can reveal reach to the controls, mirror visibility, throttle response, seat firmness and low-speed balance.
Warranty, service and delivery support
ABZO’s public material states a one-year warranty covering the motor and battery. Ask whether the warranty also covers the charger, controller, display, wiring and other components, and whether coverage depends on scheduled servicing or use of an approved outlet.

ABZO says it sells through authorised showrooms or dealers and its website, and offers test rides. Strada launch coverage identifies Motohaus as the Indian distributor. Since the Strada is a new launch, local stock, technician training and spare-part availability may vary. Verify support in your city rather than relying on a national announcement.

Service questions to ask in writing
- Where is the nearest authorised workshop and who performs battery diagnostics?
- Which parts are stocked locally and what is the normal ordering process?
- Is roadside assistance included, optional or unavailable?
- What maintenance intervals and costs are expected?
- How is a failed removable battery transported and replaced?
- What happens if delivery is delayed beyond the promised date?
Which scooter fits which buyer?
Choose the Sigilo X when the entry price matters most
The Sigilo X is listed at ₹99,900 and has a 2 kWh battery, 100 km claimed range and 65 km/h listed top speed. It is the logical starting point for a rider whose daily distance is modest, who can charge reliably and who does not need the Z-family’s higher listed speed. Confirm that the quoted price is current and that the battery and charger included match the product table.
Choose the Sigilo Z when you want a higher listed speed without the larger pack
The Sigilo Z is listed with the same 2 kWh and 100 km product-table range as X but an 85 km/h top speed. ABZO’s public material shows ₹1,36,837 for Z. Compare the actual equipment and price difference against X; paying more for speed alone may not make sense if your roads and commute are urban and slow.
Consider the Sigilo Z+ for ABZO’s larger-battery option
The Z+ is listed with a 4 kWh battery and 162 km claimed range, plus an 85 km/h top speed. It may suit a rider who prefers ABZO’s product ecosystem but needs more reserve than the 2 kWh versions. Because the public price mapping is unclear, obtain a written Z+ quote and confirm charging time, battery weight and warranty treatment.
Choose the Strada City for a mid-range launch configuration
The Strada City is reported at ₹1.20 lakh ex-showroom with a 2.16 kWh LFP battery and 130 km IDC claim. Its 45/65/85 km/h riding modes, removable battery and reported three-hour charging time make it a candidate for urban riders who value selectable speed modes and the Strada feature set. Confirm the final charger specification and local support before booking.
Consider the Strada Max for the largest published battery and range claim
The Strada Max is reported at ₹1.55 lakh ex-showroom with a 4.32 kWh LFP battery and 250 km IDC claim. It is the strongest paper choice for riders covering long distances between charges, but its larger pack may add weight and the reported charging time is about six hours. Confirm the Max’s kerb weight, carrying practicality and actual parking arrangement.

- Define your route. Record weekday distance, passenger use, hills, fastest roads and the places where charging is possible.
- Select a trim. Write “Sigilo X,” “Sigilo Z,” “Sigilo Z+,” “Strada City” or “Strada Max” on your comparison sheet. Do not leave the model field generic.
- Get two itemised quotes. Request ex-showroom and on-road totals, taxes, insurance, registration, charger and delivery charges.
- Inspect the battery process. Remove and reinstall the pack yourself, check its carrying path and confirm where it can be charged.
- Test the controls. Check seat height, reverse, display visibility, mode selection, braking, mirrors, throttle and passenger space.
- Read the warranty. Confirm coverage for the motor, battery, charger, controller and electronics, plus exclusions and claim locations.
- Verify service access. Obtain the workshop address, contact number, expected parts process and battery-diagnosis procedure in your city.
- Confirm delivery. For the Strada, launch coverage reported ₹999 bookings and deliveries beginning in November 2026; check current stock and the written delivery commitment.
- Review cancellation terms. Before paying, understand whether the booking amount is refundable and which changes trigger a price revision.

Comparing an unspecified Sigilo with an unspecified Strada
Problem: A family name hides major battery and price differences. Fix: Put the exact trim and battery capacity in every quote and spreadsheet row.
Treating IDC or manufacturer range as guaranteed distance
Problem: The headline number may not match your speed, load or weather. Fix: Plan around your normal route with a reserve and ask how the estimate was generated.

Assuming removable means lightweight
Problem: A battery that can be removed may still be difficult to carry upstairs. Fix: Demonstrate removal, ask for pack weight and measure the route from scooter to outlet.
Using a launch price as an on-road price
Problem: Ex-showroom and introductory figures omit or change local costs. Fix: Get a dated, itemised on-road quote for your registration location.
Assuming equal warranty coverage
Problem: ABZO publicly states one year for motor and battery, while a directly comparable Strada term was not provided in the launch reports. Fix: Compare the written warranty documents, not salesperson summaries.

Choose the ABZO Sigilo X or Z if their 2 kWh battery, 100 km claim and local pricing fit your commute and you value the lower listed entry points. Consider the Sigilo Z+ when you want ABZO’s 4 kWh option, but confirm its price and variant details first.
Choose the VLF Strada City for its reported 2.16 kWh LFP configuration, selectable riding modes and 130 km IDC claim, provided the local dealer can confirm charger and service details. Choose the Strada Max only when its larger 4.32 kWh battery and 250 km IDC claim solve a real charging or distance problem, and when you can accommodate its reported longer charging time and potentially greater weight.
The best purchase is the one with a verified trim, realistic daily range, practical charging routine, written warranty and reachable service centre—not the one with the largest headline number.
