That means the 2025 charge reflected each driver’s points from the preceding season. Drivers with no 2024 championship points on which to calculate the variable portion were listed at the €11,453 base amount.

Driver super licence fees are not team entry fees
The FIA’s 2025 Sporting Regulations Appendix 4 sets a separate fee for constructors entering the championship. It lists a US$680,203 base, plus US$8,161 per point for the 2024 Constructors’ Championship winner and US$6,799 per point for other competitors. Those are team entry-fee calculations, not the euro amounts in the driver table. The FIA regulations specify that the basic fee is due with the application and the balance by 15 December of the preceding year. Who actually pays a driver’s licence charge?
Reporting says teams usually cover the super licence bill, but the sources do not establish who was contractually or personally responsible for every driver’s 2025 charge. The amounts above should therefore be read as reported fees, not proof that each driver paid the listed sum out of pocket. Reporting on licence payments and coverage of later renewals.

The 2025 charges use points from the 2024 Drivers’ Championship. Later reports about 2026 renewals use 2025 points and different rates, so those figures and any amounts converted into Brazilian reais should not be substituted for the 2025 euro charges.
