The date marks the start of a planned rollout on those future vehicle categories—not a confirmed logo changeover for every Honda model.
When is Honda changing its logo?
Honda announced the refreshed mark on January 13, 2026. The company says it will appear on next-generation EVs and next-generation hybrid-electric (HEV) models introduced from 2027 onward. Honda has not announced a country-by-country schedule or a date when existing models will switch.
Honda’s January 13, 2026 announcement describes the mark as representing its automobile business. The company says it was redesigned alongside development of next-generation EVs, including the Honda 0 Series.
Which Honda vehicles are expected to get the new H mark?
The announced vehicle scope is next-generation EVs and next-generation HEVs. Honda’s release does not identify the first production vehicle that will carry the refreshed mark, nor does it provide a model-by-model adoption schedule.

Next-generation hybrids
In a May 14, 2026 business briefing summary, Honda said next-generation hybrids with an all-new hybrid system and platform would begin launching in 2027. It plans 15 such models globally by the end of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2030, primarily in North America. These are company plans; the briefing does not say that all 15 launch in 2027 or specify when each will receive the refreshed mark. Honda’s May 14, 2026 business briefing summary
Electric vehicles
Honda said it would expand its EV lineup mainly in the mini-vehicle (kei car) category and scheduled the N-BOX EV for 2028. The schedule makes it a planned future EV, but Honda has not confirmed it as the first vehicle to wear the refreshed mark. Honda’s mark announcement and May 2026 business briefing summary provide the respective branding and product-plan details.

Will every Honda have the new logo in 2027?
No such complete changeover has been announced. Honda’s wording sets 2027 onward as the planned starting period for vehicles introduced in the next-generation EV and HEV categories. It does not say that current models will be rebadged, or that every new Honda introduced in 2027 will use the mark.
Where else does Honda plan to use the refreshed mark?
Honda also intends to use the H mark across automobile-business touchpoints, including dealerships, communications initiatives, and automobile motorsports. The January 2026 announcement does not give dates for those applications.
