Can a stock Navi reliably reach 50 mph?
Not as a promise. Honda advertises up to 50 mph, and two ride accounts describe roughly that figure, but the evidence is not a repeatable test under matched conditions. Another reviewer reported 47 mph and noted that the bike did not seem happy at that speed. Your result may vary; the cited sources do not quantify how much any specific condition changes speed.
Also separate a brief peak from cruising. Touching a speed on a particular stretch does not show that the Navi can comfortably or consistently hold it on a different road. The available reports do not establish a standardized sustained-cruise speed.

Why can reported speed differ?
Road grade is one visible factor: MC Commute mentioned a slight decline during its estimate. - Start with the bike’s condition. Check tire pressures and maintenance against your owner’s manual, and confirm the tires are the correct size and rating for your model. Honda lists a 90/100-10 rear tire for the 2024 U.S. model; do not assume that fitment applies to every year or market.
- Use a legal, suitable road. Do not test maximum speed in traffic or where the posted limit, road surface, or conditions make it unsafe. A brief peak is not a reason to ride beyond the limit.
- Distinguish the reading method. Note whether the speed came from the dashboard or GPS, and record road grade and conditions if comparing rides. The cited reviews do not provide a standardized procedure, so comparisons need those details to mean much.
