Honda’s 2025 CB1300 Final Edition marked the end of the current CB1300 series, not proof that every motorcycle had already sold. The four Japan-market variants went on sale through Honda Dream on February 28, 2025, and Honda says dealers stopped accepting orders on June 30, 2025. Remaining new-bike stock is a separate, dealer-by-dealer question.
What Honda ended—and what it did not say
Honda described the 2025 Final Edition as the final model in the current CB1300 series. In its February 21, 2025 announcement, the company connected the series to PROJECT BIG-1 and the lineage of the first CB1000 SUPER FOUR, launched in 1992. Honda’s announcement establishes the end of the current series; it does not establish that every example has sold, or rule on whether a future, newly developed model could use the name.
The Final Edition is a styling edition of the existing platform, not evidence of a newly developed engine. Honda specified colors inspired by the original model, a “Final Edition” tank sticker, a gold-colored drive chain, and silver-colored swingarm, top bridge and steering stem.
When orders ended, and whether a new one is still available
Honda Motorcycle Japan’s notice dated July 15, 2025 says dealer order acceptance ended June 30, 2025. It directs prospective buyers to ask a nearby Honda Dream dealer about inventory. That is a Japan-market order and stock notice, not a statement about sales or import availability in other countries. Honda Motorcycle Japan’s notice and model information

A Honda Dream Japan stock page displayed Final Edition listings when it was updated on September 15, 2026, while warning that listed vehicles change with stock. This is a dated snapshot of Japanese dealer listings, not a guarantee of current availability or stock elsewhere. Honda Dream stock listings
If you are looking for one, contact Honda Dream dealers directly and ask whether a listed bike is physically available, which variant and model year it is, and whether it is new, registered, or otherwise classified as dealer stock. If shopping outside Japan, separately verify import eligibility, registration requirements, warranty coverage and parts support with the relevant local authorities and seller; the cited Japan notices do not settle those questions.

Super Four or Bol d’Or?
The Super Four is the unfaired version. The Bol d’Or adds a half-fairing; Honda lists it as wider (825 mm versus 795 mm for the Super Four) and taller because of that fairing. The standard Bol d’Or is also listed 6 kg heavier than the standard Super Four. These body-style distinctions are separate from the SP label.
What SP means in the available specifications
Honda lists SP versions with a 790 mm seat height, 10 mm above the standard versions. The cited Final Edition information does not establish a complete equipment comparison between SP and standard trims, so the SP name alone should not be used to infer specific component differences. In 2024, Honda described the SP variants as “flagship models of the CB series”; that was Honda’s characterization in that year’s announcement, rather than a separate technical specification. Engine and published specifications
All four versions use Honda’s 1,284cc liquid-cooled, four-stroke DOHC, four-valve inline-four. Honda lists output at 83 kW (113 PS) at 7,750 rpm and peak torque at 112 N·m at 6,250 rpm. The listed fuel-tank capacity is 21 litres, and the motorcycle uses a drive chain. Honda CB1300 specifications

What the 3,400 figure means
Honda’s 2025 announcement gives 3,400 units as an annual domestic sales plan for the series. It is not a stated production cap for the Final Edition and does not confirm how many Final Edition motorcycles were built or sold. Honda’s 2025 announcement
How to assess a remaining bike or a used example
Because new dealer stock and used motorcycles are different purchase options, establish which one is being offered before comparing prices. For any candidate, check:
- Country of sale and whether the bike is locally delivered or imported.
- Exact variant—Super Four or Bol d’Or, standard or SP—and model year.
- Asking price, mileage, condition and registration status.
- Service records and documentation, plus any warranty terms the seller can confirm.
- For a claimed new Final Edition, whether it is actually available and what “new” means in that dealer’s listing.
Honda’s published launch prices are useful for identifying the original Japan-market price position, but they cannot establish today’s resale value. A current market-wide valuation or availability figure is not provided here.
