The Hero Xoom 110 and the 2026 Indian Springfield are built for very different jobs: the Xoom is a small-displacement scooter, while the Springfield is a large touring motorcycle. They are not close substitutes, so the useful comparison is about scale, equipment, local pricing and the kind of riding each is designed to support—not naming a universal winner.
What kind of vehicle is each one?
Hero positions the Xoom 110 as a 110.9 cc scooter for everyday use. Indian Motorcycle’s 2026 Springfield is a touring motorcycle with a 1,890 cc V-twin, six gears and equipment for longer rides. Their different formats matter more than a simple engine-size ranking: the Springfield’s touring hardware and much greater mass serve a different purpose from the Xoom’s compact scooter layout.

Hero lists Xoom output as 8.70 Nm at 5,750 rpm. Indian lists the Springfield’s peak torque, but the figures do not by themselves establish which is better for a particular rider or route. The manufacturers’ specifications are not independent performance tests, and the different vehicle types make direct output comparisons especially limited. What equipment and features do they offer?
Hero Xoom 110
The Xoom comes in VX, ZX and Combat variants. Hero’s current product information associates front disc braking, corner-bending lights, Bluetooth and machined or diamond-cut alloy features with higher variants; the VX does not have those listed features. The current product page lists 130 mm front and rear brakes, while variant information distinguishes models with and without a front disc. Confirm the braking setup and equipment on the exact variant being purchased, since the published page and brochure information can differ. Hero also describes a USB charging accessory in its product materials.

Indian Springfield
Indian lists a quick-release windshield, remote-locking hard saddlebags with 17 gallons of capacity, cruise control, selectable ride modes, ABS, keyless ignition, tire-pressure monitoring, highway bars and passenger floorboards as standard equipment. The listed factory warranty is two years with unlimited mileage. The package is touring-focused; it is not a like-for-like feature set with a scooter.

Which one fits your needs?
- Consider the Xoom 110 if you want a compact scooter and are comparing options in Hero’s Indian market. Choose among its variants based on the equipment you need, and verify the specific braking configuration before purchase.
- Consider the Springfield if you are shopping for a large touring motorcycle and value its listed touring equipment, passenger provisions and storage. Its size and weight are fundamental parts of that format, not incidental differences.
- Check local requirements and costs before deciding. Licensing rules, insurance, fuel economy, reliability, service costs and real-world comfort depend on market and rider; comparable evidence for those factors is not established here.
Engine displacement alone cannot settle the choice. The right comparison is between vehicles that meet the same riding, licensing, budget and ownership needs in your location.
