Ford’s July 2025 “0-0-0” promotion did not cover every Ford or Lincoln vehicle. The offer advertised $0 down, 0% APR for 48 months, and no payments for the first 90 days, but Ford excluded several of its most popular trucks, SUVs, performance models, and certain electric vehicles.
The promotion was a summer 2025 campaign—not a currently verified August 2026 offer. Ford’s announcement was dated July 8, 2025, and the available research does not establish that the original terms are still active. If a dealer is advertising “0-0-0” now, ask for that dealer’s current written offer rather than assuming it is the same national promotion.
Ford vehicles excluded from the 2025 0-0-0 promotion
Ford’s exclusions varied by model year. The following list reflects the published 2025 and 2024 model-year restrictions, with important exceptions noted.

In practical terms, shoppers looking for a 2025 Maverick, Ranger, Bronco, Bronco Sport, Expedition, Super Duty, Raptor, Transit, or Navigator could not assume that the advertised financing package applied.

The 2024 Super Duty XL pickup exception is especially important. A simplified article might say that all 2024 Super Duty trucks were excluded, but the published qualification preserved eligibility for the XL pickup configuration. The same caution applies to 2024 Transit models: the exception was limited to ICE cargo or van models rather than the entire Transit range.
Which Ford models were examples of eligible vehicles?
Contemporary coverage identified vehicles such as the Ford Escape, Explorer, F-150, and Mustang as examples of models that could qualify. Lincoln examples included the Aviator, Corsair, and Nautilus.
Those are examples, not a guarantee that every trim, stock unit, model year, ZIP code, or buyer received the same terms. Ford described the offer as applying to “most” Ford and Lincoln vehicles and directed customers to participating dealers for complete details. An eligible model could still be unavailable at a particular dealership or subject to different contract terms based on inventory and customer qualification.

What the three zeros actually meant
The name was easy to misread because the three zeros referred to three separate conditions:
- $0 down: The promotion advertised no required down payment under the qualifying offer.
- 0% APR for 48 months: The promotional interest rate applied to a 48-month retail installment contract—not to an unlimited loan term.
- No payments for the first 90 days: The first scheduled payment was deferred for 90 days.
“No payments” did not mean that the vehicle was free for three months, nor did it erase the cost of the loan. The amount financed still had to be repaid, and the delayed payment schedule could affect when the contract’s payments ended or how the repayment schedule was structured.
Ford’s qualification language also clarified that taxes, title, license, and dealer fees were not eliminated by the zeros. A buyer could therefore have a $0-down contract while still paying—or financing—substantial government charges, documentation fees, accessories, and other transaction costs.
Why Ford excluded these particular vehicles
The exclusions removed many of Ford’s most distinctive and high-demand products from the headline deal:

- Large SUVs: The 2025 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator were excluded.
- Performance models: Raptor vehicles were excluded.
- Selected EVs: The 2024 F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E were excluded.
- Commercial vehicles: Transit eligibility was limited by configuration and model year.
That pattern is why “most vehicles” should not be interpreted as “any Ford.” The vehicles excluded were not obscure edge cases; they included several of Ford’s best-known trucks, SUVs, and specialty products.
What to verify before accepting a similar Ford offer
If a participating dealer offers these terms—or advertises a later promotion with similar wording—get the details in writing before comparing monthly payments.
- Confirm the exact vehicle. Record the model year, model, trim, stock number, and VIN. Eligibility can apply to one inventory unit and not another apparently identical vehicle.
- Confirm that it is eligible new retail inventory. Ask whether the vehicle is new, whether it qualifies under the current program, and whether the dealer is participating.
- Ask whether you qualify for Ford Credit’s promotional APR. Promotional financing is not automatically available to every buyer. Credit qualification, residency restrictions, and other conditions can apply.
- Request the out-the-door price. Compare the vehicle price, destination charge, taxes, title, registration, documentation fee, accessories, protection products, and other dealer charges—not just the advertised payment.
- Ask what happens to other incentives. Confirm whether the 0% APR or deferred-payment offer can be combined with rebates, loyalty money, trade-in assistance, or other discounts. Choosing promotional financing can sometimes affect eligibility for a separate cash incentive.
- Read the first-payment terms. “No payments for 90 days” should be compared with the contract’s actual first-payment date, payment amount, maturity date, and total number of payments.
- Compare a cash-price alternative. A low or zero APR is not automatically the cheapest deal if another financing option comes with a larger rebate or if the vehicle price is higher.
Ford Credit’s financing workflow generally encourages shoppers to prequalify, compare vehicles, review financing options, calculate payments, and prepare identification, financial documents, and proof of insurance. Those steps can help organize a purchase, but they do not establish that the historical July 2025 promotion remains available.
Does the 0-0-0 deal still exist?
The original summer 2025 offer should be treated as historical. The research available for this article did not locate an authoritative Ford page reinstating the same 48-month 0% APR, $0-down, 90-day-deferred-payment package as of August 12, 2026.

Ford later promoted a separate holiday campaign that included 0% APR for 60 months and no payments for 90 days. That later promotion should not be treated as proof that the original 48-month terms continued unchanged. Promotional APRs, eligible vehicles, expiration dates, and regional conditions can change.
The safest wording is: Ford’s July 2025 0-0-0 offer excluded the vehicles listed above. Do not assume that a current dealer advertisement uses the same exclusions or conditions without checking its current offer sheet.

Start with the total amount financed rather than the monthly payment. For example, a $40,000 vehicle with $0 down is not necessarily a $40,000 transaction: taxes, title, registration, dealer fees, and optional products may increase the balance. At 0% APR for 48 months, the financed balance is divided across the scheduled payments, but the buyer still pays that full balance.
Then request a second quote using any available non-promotional APR and cash rebate. Compare:

- Taxes and government charges;
- Dealer and documentation fees;
- Trade-in value and any remaining loan balance;
- Total amount financed;
- Interest paid over the full term; and
- The exact amount and timing of every payment.
A car-buying guide book can also be useful if you want a reference for comparing APR, dealer fees, trade-in value, and negotiation tactics before visiting a dealership. It is optional reading—not a requirement for qualifying for Ford Credit or any Ford promotion.
Bottom line for Maverick, Bronco, Ranger, and EV shoppers
If your target was a Maverick, Ranger, Bronco, Bronco Sport, Super Duty, Raptor, Expedition, Navigator, 2024 F-150 Lightning, or 2024 Mustang Mach-E, the July 2025 0-0-0 headline generally did not apply, subject to the specific 2024 Transit and Super Duty XL exceptions described above.
For other Ford and Lincoln vehicles, the promotion could still depend on the exact unit, participating dealer, buyer qualification, residency, and charges outside the advertised zeros.
