It is built for technical enduro riding, but “first proper” is positioning rather than a proven category-wide first: other electric off-road motorcycles already exist. JARV-E’s current figures are 50 kW peak power, 99 kg stated weight and a 7.3 kWh battery; the company estimates 50–80 km of range, depending on conditions.
What is the JARV-E?
JARV-E is a purpose-built electric hard-enduro motorcycle intended for technical climbs, rocky sections and balance-focused riding. The manufacturer says Jarvis contributed to development and testing, including chassis geometry, torque delivery, motor mapping and regenerative braking. Austrian motorcycle engineer David Freidinger is also part of the project. JARV-E says the motorcycle is manufactured in Austria.
The “first proper electric enduro” description should be read as a claim about the bike’s hard-enduro focus, not as proof that it is the first electric off-road motorcycle. New Atlas made that distinction in its January 9, 2026 report.

The figures below are from the manufacturer’s current product page, accessed October 8, 2026. They are published specifications and estimates, not independent test results.

The company also estimates riding time by mode: up to five hours in Super Eco, three to four hours in Mixed Enduro, and 1.5 to two hours in Fast Race. These are manufacturer estimates; no independent riding test is established by those figures.
Battery logistics may matter as much as nominal range on a long ride. JARV-E describes a battery exchange taking roughly 20–30 seconds under suitable conditions. Replacement battery packs are planned, but the company does not establish that they are currently available to buy.

Why older launch figures differ
New Atlas reported launch-era figures of 5.6 kWh and 95 kg dry weight on January 9, 2026, alongside the same 50 kW peak-power claim. Those earlier report figures differ from the manufacturer’s current 7.3 kWh and 99 kg figures; use the current manufacturer page for present specifications rather than treating the two snapshots as directly interchangeable.
Is the JARV-E street legal?
No. JARV-E describes the current motorcycle as off-road only and says it is not homologated for public roads. The company says any road version or homologation will be announced separately, so buyers should not assume the present model can be registered for road use.

When will the JARV-E be available, and what will it cost?
As of October 8, 2026, JARV-E says reservations are open in the EU and US with a refundable deposit; customers elsewhere can join a waitlist. The company plans to begin production assembly at the end of 2026 and expects deliveries to start from April 2027. These are announced future plans, not confirmation that assembly or deliveries have begun.
The manufacturer’s current page does not publish a final purchase price. It describes a two-year warranty, but says final conditions, exclusions and intended-use terms remain subject to confirmation.

What Jarvis’s involvement establishes—and what it does not
Jarvis’s role is more than a name attached to the project: the manufacturer says he contributed to testing and decisions affecting geometry, torque delivery, mapping and regenerative braking. Its current page lists seven Red Bull Romaniacs wins and five Erzbergrodeo wins as biographical context. Those are manufacturer-reported career figures, not independent performance evidence for the motorcycle.
There is also event evidence that the project reached competition settings: Red Bull Romaniacs reported on July 25, 2026 that Jarvis would ride an electric motorcycle he was developing in the Gold class and that JARV-E would appear at DemoManiacs. Formula’s April 29, 2026 report documents Formula brakes fitted to the bike at Alestrem Hard Enduro. Those reports establish event participation and component fitment, not broad claims about durability or comparative performance.
