Kumait Jaroje, a Worcester, Massachusetts, medical spa owner, told WBZ-TV that people targeted his gold Tesla Cybertruck and that he received online threats after posting a photo of a profane sticker placed on it. He said he believed the hostility reflected the political climate around Tesla CEO Elon Musk, but the reporting did not independently confirm the motive.
What Jaroje said happened
Jaroje told CBS Boston/WBZ-TV that someone placed a profane sticker on his Cybertruck in Worcester on February 7, 2025. After he shared a photo of it online, he said he began receiving threats and filed a report with Worcester Police. At the time CBS Boston published its report, police were investigating the threats; the report did not establish a later outcome.

Futurism, in a February 13, 2025, summary of the WBZ report and Jaroje’s posted photo, identified the sticker’s wording as “Nazis fuck off.” It was an anti-Nazi message, despite Jaroje’s reported description of it as a “Nazi sticker.” Futurism’s account supplies that wording; CBS Boston’s local report recounts Jaroje’s account and the police investigation.
Why he connected the incidents to politics
Jaroje said he felt anxious about his safety and his children’s safety while driving. He described a driver cutting him off, then three men getting out of a car, making obscene gestures and shouting at him. He connected the hostility to Musk’s endorsement of Donald Trump. That was Jaroje’s interpretation: the cited reporting did not establish that political views motivated the sticker, threats or encounters, and police had not publicly confirmed a motive in the report.

Why the truck was gold
The conspicuous finish had a business purpose, Jaroje told WBZ-TV: he used the truck to advertise his medical spa. CBS Boston also reported that he tried to trade it in and said Tesla representatives told him the company was not accepting Cybertruck trade-ins at that time. That account was published in February 2025 and does not establish Tesla’s current trade-in policy. WBZ-TV said it had contacted Tesla for comment but had not received a response by publication.

The reporting documents one owner’s account, including an incident involving his truck, online threats he reported, and hostile encounters he described. It does not provide a survey or other evidence that Cybertruck owners broadly face harassment, nor does it verify that all the incidents Jaroje described had the same cause. CBS Boston updated its report on February 12, 2025; Futurism published its summary the following day. Neither cited report establishes what happened after the police investigation began.
