The Giamaro Automobili Krafla is the Modena marque’s debut hypercar, built around a maker-described, in-house 6,988 cc quad-turbo V12. Giamaro’s current English specification lists up to 2,157 PS in an extreme configuration, but a May 2025 ANSA report gives a different maximum: 2,741 CV. The sources do not explain the discrepancy, so neither figure should be treated as independently verified.
What is the Giamaro Krafla?
Giamaro presents the Krafla as its first model, designed and crafted in Modena, Italy. Top Marques Monaco also identifies it as the marque’s inaugural hypercar and associates its first public presentation with the event. The car is therefore a debut from a new marque, not a vehicle with an established production or customer-delivery record.
Giamaro frames the project as a highly personalised build, inviting prospective clients to inquire or book a private viewing. Its public materials describe bespoke collaboration, but do not publish a price, production volume, or delivery schedule. Giamaro Automobili’s homepage and Krafla specification page provide the maker’s current descriptions and inquiry route.
How much power does the Krafla make?
There are two materially different published maximum-power claims. Giamaro’s current English product page lists 1,670 PS at 8,500 rpm and 1,556 Nm for standard specification, and up to 2,157 PS at 9,000 rpm and 2,008 Nm in extreme specification. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results.

In a May 23, 2025 launch report, ANSA stated that the engine could produce a maximum 2,741 CV. The sources do not say whether that figure applies to a different configuration or revision, or whether it reflects a reporting error. The unit labels do not resolve the discrepancy; readers should keep each claim attributed to its source rather than combining or silently normalising them. ANSA’s May 2025 report gives its figure, while Giamaro’s product page gives the current English specification.
What engine and drivetrain does it use?
In-house quad-turbo V12
Giamaro specifies a 6,988 cc V12 with a 120-degree hot-V layout, quad turbochargers and dry-sump lubrication. The company says the engine was designed and developed entirely in-house. A hot-V arrangement places the turbochargers in the valley between the cylinder banks; the stated architecture is an engineering specification, not evidence of independently tested performance.

Rear-wheel drive and gearbox status
The maker lists rear-wheel drive, a seven-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) and a mechanical limited-slip differential. It also lists an 11-speed electro-actuated dual-clutch gearbox as “in development.” That wording matters: the 11-speed unit should not be described as the delivered or currently available transmission without further confirmation.
Chassis, weight and dimensions
Giamaro lists a total weight of 1,540 kg and a 42:58 weight distribution. Its chassis specification includes a 170 kg carbon-fibre monocoque, aluminium crash boxes, independent double-wishbone suspension, electronically adjustable dampers and carbon-ceramic brakes. These are the manufacturer’s stated figures and equipment; no independent test data is established by the public sources cited here.

The company says the dampers adapt to road surface, speed and driving mode, and describes an adaptive rear wing and automatic ride-height adjustment. Those are maker descriptions; the published material does not provide independent measurements of their effects.

The tire sizes are the dimensions Giamaro lists, not confirmation of a replacement tire’s availability or of fitment on a particular delivered car. Buyers would need to verify the exact wheel and tire specification with the manufacturer and confirm regional stock before ordering.

What is confirmed about its launch and availability?
Top Marques Monaco’s exhibitor listing calls the Krafla Giamaro Automobili’s inaugural hypercar and says it was first presented publicly at the event. Salon Privé announced Giamaro among the marques making UK debuts at its 2026 event; that is planned show context, not confirmation that customer cars have been delivered.
Publicly accessible sources cited here do not establish the Krafla’s price, production volume, customer-delivery timing, independently tested acceleration or top speed, or homologation status in any market. Those details remain unconfirmed, so claims that it is available to buy or road-legal in a specific country need separate verification.
