Price: is the Genesis G70 cheaper?

Mercedes-Benz C-Class technology questions
The currently listed 2026 C 300 should be evaluated from its own window sticker. Mercedes-Benz separately announced a major C-Class update on August 17, 2026, describing MB.OS, over-the-air updates for numerous vehicle functions and an AI-powered MBUX Virtual Assistant. That announcement does not establish when the updated car will reach U.S. retail buyers, and it should not be used to claim that every currently listed 2026 C 300 includes those features.
Warranty and ownership evidence
Genesis publishes a 5-year/60,000-mile new-vehicle limited warranty and 10-year/100,000-mile engine and transmission coverage for new owners, subject to the terms and exclusions in its warranty documents. Those are notable documented benefits, but this material does not verify current BMW and Mercedes-Benz warranty booklets. It would be inaccurate to declare a definitive three-way warranty winner from these figures alone.

It describes substantial technology changes, including MB.OS, broader over-the-air functionality and an AI-powered MBUX Virtual Assistant. The announcement reviewed here does not state the U.S. retail-availability date.
If you are shopping a C 300 now, ask the dealer whether the car is the currently listed 2026 version or a vehicle tied to the announced update. Check the model-year designation, production date, standard equipment and delivery estimate in writing. A promised future feature is not a reason to pay more for a car whose actual specification has not been confirmed.

Choose the G70 if entry price and available V6 power lead
The G70 is the logical first stop when your budget is below the German sedans’ documented starting prices or when 300 hp in the standard engine is more appealing than 255 hp. Choose the BMW 330i if verified base-model efficiency and a traditional sport-sedan formula matter
The 330i’s documented 28/35 mpg city/highway RWD rating and 26/34 mpg xDrive rating are the clearest directly comparable efficiency figures in this set. Its $48,000 RWD starting price sits between the G70 2.5T and C 300. Move to the M340i only if you intentionally want the 386-hp performance tier and have priced its equipment, fuel and ownership requirements separately.
Choose the C 300 if its mild-hybrid system, design and drivetrain availability fit you
The C 300 supplies 255 hp and 295 lb-ft with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, and the lineup offers both rear drive and 4MATIC. Its $49,650 and $51,650 starting prices are close to the BMW equivalents but above the corresponding G70 figures.
