Geely’s Pakistan entry is planned, but the cars are not yet confirmed as available to buy. Bestway Automotive, a Bestway Group subsidiary, was named Geely Auto Group’s sole authorized distributor in Pakistan in a July 2026 agreement. The announced rollout starts with imported, completely built vehicles, with local assembly planned as a later phase. As of the latest located reports in September 2026, the EX2 hatchback and EX5 compact SUV were expected, but prices, Pakistan specifications and a firm launch date had not been announced.
What the Bestway–Geely agreement means
The July 2026 partnership makes Bestway Automotive the announced sole authorized Geely distributor in Pakistan. Its rollout plan has two stages: begin with completely built unit (CBU) imports, then move to local assembly at Bestway’s existing Karachi plant. The agreement describes a plan; it does not establish that assembly has started. Business Recorder reported the agreement on July 9, 2026.
That announcement is not the same as a retail launch. Business Recorder reported on September 16, 2026 that Bestway Automotive planned an initial CBU introduction and expected bookings before the end of 2026. “Expected” is a forecast: it does not confirm that bookings have opened.
