What new Lamborghinis are coming?
The most concrete future-model news is about two vehicles Lamborghini described in earlier announcements: a Lanzador-inspired 2+2 Gran Turismo and a fully electric Super SUV. Those announcements show the company’s previous direction, not a guaranteed current schedule. The Lanzador remains a concept, and no final production specifications, price, order timing, or market availability are established.

The table reflects what Lamborghini announced at the time, rather than a confirmed current launch calendar. The company’s 2025 Sustainability Report says a corporate strategy review began in early 2026 and is due to conclude in 2027. Later reporting describes a change to the EV plan, but the official report does not itself set out a replacement model or date.
Is the Lamborghini Lanzador still happening?
The Lanzador itself is real as a concept unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2023. It previews the direction Lamborghini then intended for a fourth model: a 2+2 Gran Turismo, a format with two main seats and two additional seats, positioned in a segment the company called “Ultra GT.” The concept is not evidence that a production car with the same name, design, or powertrain will arrive on the previously announced schedule.

At the unveiling, Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann described the concept’s intended positioning: “With this concept, we are ushering in a new car segment, the Ultra GT, which is poised to offer customers a new and unparalleled driving experience, one that’s quintessentially Lamborghini, thanks to groundbreaking technologies.” That statement refers to the 2023 concept and its original ambition; it does not confirm a finalized production vehicle.
Lamborghini announced the 2028 launch year for the planned fourth model in 2023. In July 2026, Electrek reported that Lamborghini’s first EV had moved beyond 2030 and that the planned Lanzador EV was no longer on its earlier track. That is secondary reporting. The official information establishes an ongoing strategy review, not the final outcome, so a revised launch date or a detailed replacement model should not be treated as confirmed.

Will Lamborghini make an electric car?
Lamborghini’s original roadmap, “Direzione Cor Tauri,” announced in May 2021, called for hybridizing the range and envisioned a fully electric fourth model in the second half of the decade. The company’s 2023 Lanzador announcement then presented the concept as a preview of that planned model. These are historical plans; the later strategy review and reporting about a changed EV schedule mean they should not be read as current guarantees.
The 2021 roadmap also set a target to reduce fleet CO₂ emissions by 50% beginning in 2025. That was a target announced at the time, not a current product specification or proof that the future-model timetable remains unchanged.

When will Lamborghini’s electric SUV arrive?
A Lamborghini environmental statement published in 2024, describing the company’s 2023 plans, said a fully electric Super SUV was planned for 2029. It also described a fully electric GT 2+2 previewed by the Lanzador for the end of the decade. These were announced targets, not confirmed delivery dates. The strategy review due to conclude in 2027 leaves the current timing and final powertrains unresolved in the available official information.
