The AOTOS Flux X26 is an electric bike that AOTOS markets with moto-inspired styling and performance features. The standard X26 and X26 Pro share a listed 750 W rated output and 28 mph Boost-mode top speed, but differ in peak power, torque, battery capacity, claimed range, and price. Those are manufacturer specifications—not independent test results—and the design or speed claim alone does not determine where the bike is legal to ride.
What is the AOTOS Flux X26?
AOTOS describes its Flux X26 series as an electric bike with a “mecha-inspired” look and a performance-oriented position between everyday e-bike utility and moto-style riding. In its May 29, 2026 launch announcement, the company called it “the world’s first wheelie-capable e-moto” and described a “high-strength aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum keel frame.” These are AOTOS’s own marketing and construction claims, not independent assessments of capability or frame strength. For clarity, “e-moto” here describes the styling and marketing position. AOTOS presents the Flux X26 as an electric bike; the phrase does not establish a legal vehicle category.
What is the difference between the Flux X26 and X26 Pro?
AOTOS’s official comparison lists the Pro with more peak power, torque, and battery capacity, along with a longer claimed maximum range. Both versions share the listed rated power, Boost-mode top speed, brakes, suspension, tires, and maximum load.

These figures come from AOTOS’s official comparison page. The company says Boost allows peak power and torque for up to 10 seconds at a time. The page does not establish independent performance testing or explain the conditions behind the range estimates.
How fast does the Flux X26 go?
AOTOS lists a 28 mph top speed in Boost mode for both models. That is a manufacturer-stated figure, not a verified real-world speed. Boost is described as a short-duration mode, lasting up to 10 seconds at a time; the published figure should not be read as a promise that either bike will sustain that speed in ordinary riding.
How far can it travel on a charge?
AOTOS claims up to 50 miles for the standard X26 and up to 70 miles for the Pro. The comparison page does not state test conditions, such as rider and cargo weight, terrain, speed, temperature, or assist settings. Treat these as upper-end manufacturer estimates rather than guaranteed trip distances; actual range can differ with use.

The product listing specifies a 5.5-inch TFT display, phone-synced turn-by-turn navigation, and approximately six hours of charging time. It gives a net weight of 97 lb (45 kg), a maximum load of 330 lb, and a recommended rider height of 5 ft 2 in to 6 ft 7 in. These are manufacturer-provided specifications, not independent evaluations. AOTOS product listing
The Pro listing also describes GPS tracking and anti-theft alerts. Those features do not establish how effectively the bike can be recovered or protected from theft, and they are not evidence that a separate lock is unnecessary. Check the current included-items list and security-feature terms before purchase.
Which version makes more sense?
Choose the standard X26 if
- You do not need the Pro’s higher listed peak output or torque.
- The 18 Ah battery and AOTOS’s up-to-50-mile estimate suit your expected trips, with allowance for real-world variation.
- You prefer the lower listed price, subject to confirming the current store price.
Consider the X26 Pro if
- You value its higher listed peak power and torque.
- The larger 21 Ah battery and higher manufacturer-stated range are relevant to your riding plans.
- You want to evaluate its listed GPS tracking and anti-theft alerts, while checking what is included and how those functions work.
Neither model’s published figures settle questions about ride quality, stopping distance, durability, or actual range: the cited official pages do not provide independent controlled tests for those qualities. The product’s 97 lb listed weight is also worth considering for storage, transport, and handling when it is not being ridden.
What did the AOTOS Flux X26 cost?
On October 8, 2026, AOTOS’s official store listed the standard X26 at $1,699 and the Pro at $2,299. These are prices observed on that date, not guaranteed current prices. The listing stated free shipping to the contiguous 48 U.S. states, with 1–3 business days for processing and usual shipping of 2–5 days depending on location. It excluded Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, PO Boxes, and APO/FPO addresses. Confirm the live price, inventory, and delivery terms with the store before ordering.
Is the Flux X26 legal to ride where I live?
The listed 28 mph Boost-mode speed and the “e-moto” label do not by themselves establish a legal classification. Rules can depend on jurisdiction, vehicle specifications, and where you intend to ride; access to public roads, bike lanes, trails, and other paths may be governed separately. Check the current rules with the relevant state or local transport authority before riding in public spaces. The available product information does not establish a federal, state, or local classification for either model.
