Setup time and roof dimensions
Freescape states that inflation takes less than four minutes. With the roof raised, the vehicle reaches approximately 320 cm in height. The roof tent weighs about 70 kg, has a footprint of roughly 220 × 260 cm and provides an approximately 120 cm-high tent area. The closed vehicle dimensions are listed as 505 × 227 × 215 cm.
“Advanced Air Technology” describes the load-bearing heart of the Freescape sleeping roof, but buyers should still ask the dealer how the roof is secured for travel, what wind and weather limits apply, and how repairs are handled in their region.

Upper roof bed
The upper mattress measures 140 × 200 cm. Freescape describes it as an approximately 8 cm foam-and-air mattress, giving the roof compartment a conventional double-bed footprint.

When the interior is configured for sleeping, the lower area is about 100 × 200 cm. With both levels in use, Freescape states a total capacity of up to four sleepers. The lower berth is narrower than the upper double bed, so families should check the exact seat, bench and bed arrangement before ordering.

Freescape specifically says the modules can be arranged to hold a cool box and a portable camping toilet. Confirm the insert combination and usable internal volume, because the outside dimensions alone do not show how much space remains after drawers and fittings are installed.

Movable kitchen
The kitchen can slide through the vehicle and out to the exterior. It includes an integrated sink and storage, allowing cooking outside when weather and campsite rules make that preferable while retaining an indoor cooking option when necessary.

Ford Tourneo Custom availability
Yes. The Freescape concept is available on a Ford Tourneo Custom base vehicle, alongside Volkswagen T7 configurations. A Campervans.de report dated 16 January 2026 cited a Ford-based starting price of €79,900 and reported that Freescape had announced first deliveries for the end of 2026. Because that figure predates or differs from the current line-page pricing, treat it as a dated entry-configuration report rather than a standing price promise. Request a current, written quote directly from Freescape and ask whether it includes the donor vehicle, VAT, registration, transport and delivery date.
