Forza Motorsport Update 16 began downloading on January 6, 2025, for Xbox Series X|S and PC through Microsoft Store and Steam. Its BMW Month cars and events started January 8 at 4:00 p.m. PT (January 9 at 12:00 a.m. UTC). The original event calendar has ended, but Turn 10 later said the BMW Tour returned as a permanently available Featured Tour; that does not confirm that every BMW reward or Challenge Hub objective is available now.
When Update 16 and BMW Month began
Turn 10 announced Update 16 on January 6, 2025, with the download rollout starting that day for Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam. The new spotlight cars and events began Wednesday, January 8 at 4:00 p.m. PT, equivalent to January 9 at 12:00 a.m. UTC. The announcement did not state a complete current build number. The original BMW Month schedule ran from January 8 through February 12, 2025. Those event dates and the associated deadlines below are historical, not current live dates.
What the BMW Tour included
BMW Month added four Career series, each centered on a different period or type of BMW competition. The announcement named these example cars:

Turn 10’s 2025 year-in-review later said the BMW Tour returned as a Featured Tour, alongside previously released tours and reward cars, so players could enjoy them at any time. How the announced BMW rewards worked
Update 16 tied its headline rewards to distinct modes. The dates in the table are the original announcement deadlines, not current deadlines.

The Rivals event also included registration for a chance to win a trip for two to Le Mans, with flights, accommodation, and tickets. The 2023 BMW #25 BMW Team RLL M Hybrid V8 and 2020 Formula Drift #91 BMW M2 were also listed as Showroom cars, with Challenge Hub unlocks as another announced path. The announcement does not establish their current availability or the present status of those unlock objectives.
