The launch was tied to a 2024 Rocket League Summer Road Trip promotion. Its challenge windows ran from July 23 through August 6, 2024. A later Item Shop period ran August 7–21, 2024, but those dates describe the past event and do not indicate that the items are available now. Read Rocket League’s Summer Road Trip announcement.
How could players get the Cybertruck?
During the 2024 promotion, players could earn rewards through Rocket League challenges, including the Cybertruck car body and related cosmetics. The announcement also described a later limited-time shop period for Summer Road Trip rewards. Yes, the 2024 promotion connected the games: Rocket League’s announcement said the Cybertruck car body and specified cosmetics were eligible for cross-game ownership with Fortnite. Epic’s Fortnite listing also says purchasing the bundle makes it available in Rocket League. These statements describe the supported cross-game eligibility of the items; they do not make the retired 2024 challenges or shop dates active again.
