Only two complete packages were announced for sale at launch: Matte Black and Sinister Bronze for Bronco. The five display vehicles were not all retail packages.
What Ford Custom Garage is—and what the five builds represented
Ford described Custom Garage as a limited-edition vehicle-upfit program. Its October 31, 2024 launch announcement presented four builds as previews of potential or planned packages for Bronco, Bronco Sport and F-150 customers. The fifth, “Clyde,” was a heritage tribute built with customizer Solomon Lunger—not a preview of a retail package. Ford’s launch announcement gives the build details, while SEMA’s 2024 recap confirms the launch framing.
Here is how the five vehicles differed in base model, intended use and retail status:
| Build | Base vehicle | Direction and notable equipment | What Ford said about its status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronco Wild Fund Project Vehicle | Four-door Bronco Big Bend with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine | Outdoor-oriented concept with concept-green seven-spoke wheels, Bilstein-tuned Ford Performance 2-inch leveling kit, custom Katzkin leather seats, Ford Performance tube doors and power soft-top | Showed what a future offering could be; Ford did not say this exact configuration was available to buy as a package. |
| Bronco Sport Wild Fund Project Vehicle | 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine | Concept green 17-inch Free Wheeling wheels, Ford Performance leveling kit, custom graphics and Katzkin seat covers | Ford called it a concept retail kit that could potentially be sold in the future. |
| F-150 ORV Project Vehicle | 2024 F-150 XLT FX4 with a 5.0-liter V8 | Off-road showcase with Bilstein 2-inch leveling kit, underbody armor, unique wheels, auxiliary upfit switches, RIGID Industries auxiliary lighting and ORV exterior trim and graphics | A project vehicle and component showcase, not an announced complete retail package. |
| F-150 FP700S by Ford Performance Parts | 2024 F-150 XL regular cab, two-wheel drive, with a 5.0-liter V8 | Street-truck build with Ford Performance lowering kit, Whipple 3.0-liter supercharger, fender vent kit, unique badging and graphics, and cat-back sport exhaust | Ford presented it as a build using Ford Performance Parts, not one of the two initial Custom Garage packages. |
| Solomon Lunger’s 1969 F-100 “Clyde” | One-off classic Ford pickup | Heritage restomod with a Ford Performance 5.2-liter Raptor R crate V8 and 3.8-liter Whipple supercharger, Porterbuilt Stage 2 coilover chassis from Fat Fender Garage, exposed carbon-fiber body panels, forged custom wheels and luxury leather interior | A one-off heritage tribute, not a planned Custom Garage package. |
What each build was meant to show
Bronco: an outdoor-lifestyle concept
The Bronco Wild Fund vehicle paired a Big Bend with a power soft-top, tube doors and custom leather, alongside the leveling kit and green wheels. It was a demonstration of a possible future configuration, not confirmation that the entire displayed combination could be ordered through Custom Garage.

Bronco Sport: a possible retail-kit direction
The Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch added green Free Wheeling wheels, a leveling kit, graphics and Katzkin seat covers. Ford described this as a concept retail kit that might be offered later; that wording is not an availability announcement.
F-150 ORV: an off-road parts showcase
The XLT FX4 build emphasized protection, lighting and utility: underbody armor, auxiliary switches and RIGID Industries lighting joined the leveling kit, wheels and ORV graphics. Ford characterized it as a project vehicle, so its collection of parts should not be treated as a single package offer.

F-150 FP700S: a lowered, supercharged street truck
Ford projected 700 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque for the FP700S. Those are Ford’s projected figures for the build, not independently verified test results. Ford also said the Whipple supercharger was CARB-certified for 50-state legality and carried a 3-year/36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty when installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician. Those claims apply as Ford stated them, including the installation condition.
“Clyde”: a high-power heritage tribute
Ford projected more than 900 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque for the supercharged Raptor R crate-engine F-100. These, too, are Ford’s projected show-build specifications, not independent test results. The exposed carbon-fiber panels and custom chassis made “Clyde” a bespoke tribute rather than a vehicle package for customers to select from a catalog.

The two Bronco packages actually announced at launch
Ford’s October 31, 2024 announcement named Matte Black and Sinister Bronze as the first complete Ford Custom Garage packages. Ford listed each at $5,200 MSRP at launch. That historical price excluded the separately sold 35-inch Goodyear All-Terrain tires and dealer labor; it is not a current quote.
Ford said each package included:
- An Off-Road 2-inch leveling suspension kit and calibration tool
- Five 17 x 8.5-inch custom wheels and black lug nuts
- Grille letter caps, badges and a smoked Ford oval
- Extended fender flares and an updated spare tire carrier
Ford said installation could be done by a Ford dealer or an ASE-certified shop. To estimate the full cost of a launch-era setup, the $5,200 package MSRP alone was not enough: tires and labor were additional. Current package pricing and availability are not established by that historical announcement.

How the current program differs from the 2024 launch
Ford’s current Ford Custom Garage consumer page lists package categories for Mustang, Bronco, Bronco Sport, F-150 and Super Duty. It describes limited-edition packages designed by Ford and says eligible packages may be installed at the factory or by a certified Ford dealer; eligible vehicles already owned by customers may have dealer installation. The catalog is broader than the two Bronco packages announced at the 2024 launch, but a category listing does not establish that a particular package fits a particular model year or trim.
The consumer page says every package comes with a supplemental 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. Ford Performance Parts’ program page separately says accessories bought after vehicle purchase receive 24 months regardless of mileage from receipt and installation, or the remainder of the applicable new-vehicle warranty, whichever provides greater coverage. Because these statements describe different warranty contexts, check the written terms for the exact package, purchase timing and installation route rather than assuming one warranty description covers every configuration.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesBefore making a purchase decision, confirm the current model year and trim eligibility, package stock, installed price, required components and applicable warranty directly with Ford or a participating dealer. Fitment matters for any suspension or wheel-and-tire change; a generic 2-inch leveling kit should not be assumed to match Ford’s package or fit every Bronco. Verify vehicle year, trim, suspension and wheel/tire combination before buying any standalone part.
Why Ford launched the program
Kim Mathers, Ford’s director of Vehicle Personalization and Performance Parts, said the company was looking for trends it could offer as limited-edition packages through dealers, with parts designed and tested to Ford’s factory standards. Ford also reported that its personalization and accessories business had grown more than 20 percent in the five years preceding the 2024 announcement. That is Ford’s own company-reported figure; the announcement did not describe a measurement method.
